This animation was pretty good, (other than the above, but thats just me) Good sprite work, nice music cues. Anyway, i really just wanted to say.. Noooooooooo! Dixxy, why, why!!

I found it a gd story cuz for once the good guys are losing a lot of people (in this case apes). Also the mysterious dark person in the story was a good idea.
ya did a great job with taking movie songs and put them into ur flash.

To the guy a few review back who wrote the wrong and inacurate response: Here's what I agree with you on this flash, the pirates of the whatever song was being used WAY to much. Once was enough, really, I thought it didn't fit at all. The character of Cranky, but then again this is a movie and I guess we can let that slide. Pixels, they looked really, really choppy, could use some work there. Everything else you complained about was off. At least that I can remember, really I didn't care enough to read your entire review. Your kind of reviews are what I call "overkill," where you put to much into a simple entertainment flick. Really I just wanted to say that because I get annoyed by people like you who go out of their way to complain about something.
This movie was pretty good, but then again you sorta went overboard with the pirates soundtrack. It had some lame scenes in it, and the fights could've been somewhat more, interesting. But the storylines great. I'm not really into these flicks where sprites are turned into dramas, but really it wasn't all that bad. I didn't "love" it, but you've got a great start, keep it up.

It's rare that you find a Donkey Kong sprite movie anywhere on the internet, so I gotta give you points for trying something other than the typical Mario cartoons I see everywhere.
But the presentation is very inconsistant. The movie tries too hard to be epic and the progression doesn't seem natural or realistic. Granted the movies about monkeys going to war with lizards, but hey, I'm trying to make point here. Another thing is, the movie doesn't know what mood to be, so it switches rapidly between intense sorrow and angry vengeance with no gradual transition between the two.
But otherwise, I like it. Hopefully the next one (if there will be one) will have a little more focus on the story.
