Amazing!!!

An excellent piece of work. This was not a stupid parody as I had thought it would be when i clicked on the link. This was actually a well-developed epic movie. It was funny in parts (the life balloon pops when she dies!), but it also had really well done battle scenes and slightly touching parts thrown in there. Unlike the games its based on, this animation had a plot. It was really cool to see those loveable nintendo gimmicks developed into real characters. The occasional 3D effects were excellent, and the soundtrack was familliar and went well with the movie. Thank you, Sebastian. I thoroughly enjoyed this piece and will be anxiously awaiting a sequel. Good work.

dk is glorified once again! lot of music (and a line here and there) from epic movies, like Pirates of the Carib., LOTR, Star Wars, and...Braveheart? the only flash i have seen on newgrounds that has the feel of an epic movie. look forward to the sequel, and like the last guy said, don't overdo it and lose the epic feel. lol.....loved how the one guy was impaled on the horn.

I've seen many flash animations that have made me laugh my ass off on Newgrounds... I've seen many that have made me shake my head in shame. There are even a few that have made me cringe here (I'm looking at you, Exmortis)... this flash was brilliantly done. The fact this movie has anything less than a 5 is a travesty in itself: kudos to you for making a flash movie that takes you on a roller coaster. Cannot wait for part two to come out for this, and I can only hope the epic feeling from the first one isn't lost in the second one.
