Jeez man, make it a bit easier would you? I got through the last one alright but this one is impossible! No matter what I do, my opponents always have loads more armour than me, and when it's first blood wins, that's a ridiculous advantage! Tone down the hard scale, and this game would be so much better for it.

This demo is actually worse than the original Swords and Sandals demo. The enemies are completely random (the game usually, about 90% of the time asked me to fight dudes with 100+ armor, at level the first 4 levels, when the most armor you can get at that level is like around 20) and it all felt very unbalanced. the new additions are cool, but you can't even save once, and you constantly get robbed when you don't pay 250 gold (half my earnings) for a room.
I couldn't get past lvl 4, as i was forced to take the tournament then, and i faced a man with 170 health and over 60 armor. I had 120 health and 20 armor.
Also, the duels were stupid, as it made my high Vitality useless, and my low armor the only focus. I had to go to duel, and then leave/enter again over and over until i found a guy who was within 10 armor points as me, which usually took a full game day for 1. Plus everything is so expensive considering you get robbed, and losing is so easy and random. And with no save, i was forced to survive off scraps from a few measly gladiator winnings alone, and face guys as strong as most games last boss.
make it so the enemies aren't as unbalanced and random. theyre stats shouldn't be more than a certain amount more than yours. very dissapointing. Id like the new features, if i could fucking get to them! 3/5...... tsk tsk, and i loved the original. But im not paying monthly so i can play a randomized enemy turn based rpg.

Don't knock the shareware concept. The demo is free, you like it, you try the full version. If you don't that's fine too. What have you lost? You've paid nothing to play the game. This demo is probably still bigger than many games posted on the site anyway.
