You may want to concider a training area. This is a given. And maybe those little huts in the back ground could be home to secrets and daily events.
As for the last guy (not that I'm angry) - Read the whole screen when leveling up. "Ask not for a lighter load, but rather a stronger back."

Has promise
Its a decent game but dude you need to make stuff waaaay cheaper and reduce the difficulty. Also you need a save feature. The stats honestly are a bit to numerous you need to reduce to maybe Strength Stamina Charisma Agility Intellect. The reall killer though is its just to damned hard to get started in the game hell all the duels I fought in the begining I lost apart from like 2. You need some kinda training thing for this so if you don't put in a save mode you can at least make your charecter stronger without the risk of just starting it all over again.

I like the game but it was so hard just to get started. Then the fact that this is a "demo" I dont understand why this is here unless you could play the whole game. I killed the ninja then it ends...
Decent...
I, like many others before me, though this was considerably too hard for a demo. After playing it several times, though, I found a decent strategy to beat that first boss. After beating the first boss, nothing after it is very hard. Even the second boss was cake. Wraith is a nearly essential feature to use, and the fact that it can be put on the rusty knife for free made the first boss considerably easier (for people who have not tried this, try it). Anyway, it was pretty fun after I got the hang of it, and I was very disappointed that not only was it only a demo, but that the full version requires money to play.
Very boring, battles are tedious
You can improve the animation. Nice wide range of selection for the heads and hair and beard and lots of items too. Not enough opportunities to beef up the character and get decent equipment. Equipment are too expensive, so you can balance that one.
Also, some battles take too long because you can regenerate by sleeping, and your opponent can sleep too. I mean, who the heck sleeps in a gladiator battle?
