Reviews for "Swords and Sandals 2"

good

this game is good but the prices for the items get dear to quickly and when you start the tornement, it got hard way to quickly, secnd mtch in tornement was a guy with 150 armor, and i only had 75, and i have spent all my money on armor

fun but glitchy

bought a shield, never showed up, making me die quickly. Not sure if the one hit yield is a glitch but its annoying. One time first opponent hit me for 90 points, obvious one hit kill. Made it to the ninja boss, dont see how its possible to kill him when he drinks life potion every time hes close to death. I liked your first swords and sandals. Cant imagine paying for this game in its current state. Definitely better than 98% or so of the other things I see on here. Im sure you spend a long time on this, but hope some things are fixed. Would make people more willing t pay if they didnt come across some things like spending 2000$+ on a shield that never appears.

Great game except for the bugs

I really loved this game and its previous version. The changes that have been made are also quite impressive. I would actually have considered signing up to play the full version if it wasn't for the bugs displayed in this demo. Things like being able to reduce my opponent to 0 life in a duel and then still losing are just frustrating.

Good job

Great game that you can find youself spending a good amount of your time playing. It was a hard game but if it wasn't hard then it wouldn't have been as good a game.

Balancing issues.

I beat it... eventually. Nothing different really happens after the first tourney.

The main problem I had with the game is that the enemies were incredibly random, and their power level had nothing to do with yours. Compared to the amount of equipment you could muster up some guys would be unbeatable. So really you had to go in and out a bunch of times to pick fights you could actually win, and hope you got lucky in the tournaments.

It also seemed like you 'had' to go with the axe/mace line because strength also influenced your damage dealt.

Ultimately if you want to win you have to get an upgraded weapon (and enchant it, if possible) before the first tournament.
