Reviews for "Lost Rhapsody 2"

Amazing.

Very well done. Unbelieveable. The pure amount of detail put into this flash astounds me, and shows the true talent you have. This blows TANKMEN outta the water, even on humor (i just like the song, so it helps) and i think this could permently change the face of new grounds

Pwned but still standing, W.H.

Nice job

I thought it was funny. I loved the cell shading. Nicely animated. Do whatever come natural, cause that will yield the best product.

CapnBob responds:

Actually, this didn't come natural... It was a challenge because I hadn't done it like this before. And that's what comes naturally for me. :)

amazing

everything about that was just awesome. i could watch it a few more times and it would still be amazed at it all. nice work man, almost perfect.

CapnBob responds:

Thank you!

Sweeeeeeet!!!!

I agree, that was awesome. Better than the first. I'm not a huge fan of wierd al, in fact, I had never even heard of wierd al untill he made this. Hey Al, I have 3 questions:
1:How do you draw those characters so good?
2:I like the bit at the end with the circus theme and the statue squashing the Iraqy dude. Did you use that music from the Monty Python movies? If so, which one?
3:Will there be another lost rhapsody?
Hope those questions aren't too hard for you.

CapnBob responds:

Weird Al Yankovic arranged the music, which was recorded over 10 years ago. He's a multi-grammy-award-winning musician, you can find out all about him at weirdal.com. I don't think he's actually watched Lost, though.

1: I used photos and videos as a basis, either referencing them or drawing over the top of them depending on what I needed. The more I did, the better I got at them.

2: The theme at the end is the Liberty Bell, a march by american composer John Philip Sousa. It's used as the title theme to Monty Python's Flying Circus, the TV show. That's where the audio for the march and the pooting noise came from.

3: Only if inspiration strikes. I'm not going to sit down and try to force myself to do one if an idea doesn't present itself, but if a song strikes me that would be appropriate and I get some silly gag ideas then I might make another one.

Ha...

The ending was messed up but very funny. I watched the first one so many times. Glad you made a second.
