SO, Just to let you know, the server is down for reasons that can't be helped. So you all will just have to sit tight and wait it out. Kipp said it should be up soon, not much we can do about that though eh.
Also, I just finished reading Dott's post, yeah.. I don't even know where to begin with that. Not ALL mods abuse their powers, I for one don't. Never have, and never will. So don't lump all mods into one group, specially considering about 90% of the mods that are on there now YOU USERS voted in. And I agree, mods are to warn before banning, unless, this particular user has done the same thing over and over and does not learn from the warnings. For those special users, they get a ban right off the hop. If they didn't learn the first 10 times, it's obvious they just don't care, so why should we?

I agree, there is a certain way a mod is to carry themselves, BUT, we are not your mama's, nor are we here to hold your hand. We WILL treat you exactly how you treat us. So if you're going to be a little shit disturber, don't expect too much patience. Mods are here to keep the chat flowing, not to kiss users asses. And warning after being warned for the same incident is kind of redundant. Also, Mods do have to tend to other things, be it in RL or else wheres on WoW, so if you see something going down and think it should be stopped, do /spyonme or pm a mod, I'm sure they'll be glad to help.
You seem to talk alot about rules being followed, and yet you never once mention how there are rules for users to follow as well. It seems that you expect Mods and Admins to bow down at users feet and be there ready to jump when you say how high. And how are you to know what rules there are for Mods and Admins, considering you are neither. I am both, and I am on every day. So that blows a hole right there in that rant. And I have kicked as well as banned my friends on there, that's what comes with being a Mod. And you're quite right, Kipp doesn't come on WoW as much anymore, mostly the reason being users like you who piss and moan about things that he really doesn't need to be bothered with. So you can give yourself a nice pat on the back for that one.
And just the fact that you are telling users to spam someone cause YOU don't like them, just goes to show how mature you are, and lowers the value your opinion holds to us. And the color glitch is not forbidden, feel free to use it in the Rainbow Room, that's what it was created for. But hey, if you want to listen to this person and get yourself banned, by all means, feel free. =] And Dott, if you don't like the place, don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya on the way out.
To the rest of the users, who might actually care about keeping this place user friendly, try to have more fun in the mains, and less fights. If a Mod is abusing their powers, simply type /spyonme in the room it's happening in, or in the private message as soon as it begins. It will be logged, so we can go back and review what happend. There's always 2 sides to a story, and unfortunately, there's alot of users who cry wolf, which makes it hard for us to trust what a user says. But, if you use /spyonme, and then offline me and tell me the date and who you were having trouble with, we'll look into it. I just want what's best for WoW, and what keeps users happy. Happy users make for a happy chat =]
But yeah, I've been coming to WoW now for, geez, I don't even know how long. A few years for sure. I've seen the ups and downs and know most of the users. Tis a place where you can still meet a few nice people, and of course there will always be some jag offs, but it is a chat... and you'll find that in any chat room you go to. I just wish that users and mods would try to work more TOGETHER than against each other. I'm tired of the B.S.
Oh well, soon WoW might be changing totally from what it is as we know it. So instead of dwelling on all the negative, try to enjoy the positive. It still can be a fun lil place if you let it =]

Hah! I've been here since WoW1, and know what? I hate it. The mods are power abuser, all of them! Let's take a common scenario:
There's a few going nuts in main, might be a bit perverted, spam a bit, curse, etc.
A mod bans them... No warning. THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO WARN.
If a mod does the same thing, nothing happens.
One particular mod is Riku the Heartless. I've complained to Kipp (the creator) about him, and I never got a reply. Of course, Kipp is busy, but it's about half a year since I complained. I still didn't get a reply.
Also, there are certain ways for a mod to act. Mods have to be decent, patient, friendly, dependable and at least have a sense for authority.
The mods are supposed to talk to the trouble makers and alike.
If they don't do as the mod tells them to, they get warned.
They should get another warning before being disconnected.
Then, if they continue... They should get banned for a few hours.
If they keep going, ban them for longer and longer spans of time.
THE MODS HERE DO NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES.
There are also certain admin rules.
Sadly, the admins can't follow rules either.
THEY ARE NEVER ONLINE, AND CAN THEREFOR NOT DO ANYTHING.
Also, I quite believe that Kipp has totally abandoned this chat, 'cause he's never online. No updates have been made. He never responds to anything sent to him.
I believe he's working on WoW3 (Commonly known as ''Tubes'').
Furthermore, the mods are not always online. Often there are random users and guests rampaging through the chat. The channel #main1 is always completely insane. Am I the only one who can see the problems?

If the mods have very good friends, these friends are NOT judged. They can do WHATEVER they want to.
