Reviews for "Storm the House 2"

Good time waster

I finished it, so I can't rate you too poorly -- you obvious got me hooked.

I agree with the other submitters that after a certain point, all of your men did all of your work for you. Before the tanks showed up, I only shot the missle dudes. When the tanks showed up, I only shot those. About two days after the tanks started coming at me, I figured out that I had enough men that even if I didn't shoot the tanks, my house never dropped below 800.

Of the ideas I read in the other reviews, the one that I like the most is the ability to go on the offensive. I don't know who these guys are trying to storm MY house, but I think it's time to turn the tables and take over their house instead.

Oh yeah!

Awesome!

The graphics o this game were superb. Light angels and everythign were brought into consideration. Enemy character models looked good, with the exception of stickmen. Even the gun shots looked good. Even small details like the tanks barrel moving back after firing was included.

Everything was animated fluidly and no matter how full the screen got, it hardly ever lagged. Now that may just have been my computer, or it good have been the simplicity of some of the animations and graphics.

The gunshots, explosions and other miscellaneous sound effects were very good. The only noise I had problems with were the noise your own gun would make, with the exception of the gravity gun, which sounded really alien like.

The descriptions of each weapon were also fun to read. I liked how you included a bit of background information to bring it all to life. However, ti would have helped if you gave a description for everything else as well.

The violence wasn't all that detailed, just a red mark and a few explosions. Still, it would have been kinda slow if there was more detail so maybe that was for the best.

The controls were very simple and easy to use. Just a click of the mouse and a tap of the spacebar. It helped that everything was so simple. If it hadn't been then things would have gotten messy pretty quickly, I'm sure. The upgrade menu was also simple. It also looked nice.

There were also many strategies and options available to the player, and I'm sure it would take many days to figure out them all and how to use them to their best efficieny. If there's one thing I like in a game, it's having more than one option when dealing with a problem.

I hope you continue to make more games like this, improving and giving wider arrays of weaponry to choose from.

You may also want to try it the other way round as well. Where the player atacks the house.

exelent

man the guy who wrote the last reveiw is some computer geek (no offense) coz im still at day 18...man this is takin ages....
i liked it it was a really good peice of work
i know you cant criticize if you cant do better but i think the down fall to it was there was no music....
...but other than that i think this game is the best i added it to my favourites!

Okay, a little help for newbs

for the newbs with the mini gun, you need to stop clicking for a second let it cool or whatever it does, then click and hold! :)

i found a little glitch that pretty much owns the game!!!
when you see the day screen before you fight and you have the fist thing press and hold "x" so your fist is hitting the semi white screen that says what day it is, and keep it held down... no while the round starts another fist starts hitting in essence giving you 2 fists pounding the ground :)

guess what

guess what, you get a 2 just because i diddent get the joy of useing the mini gun, THE MINI GUN DIDDENT WORK MAN LIKE SEREIOUSLY HERES WHAT IT DID (charge sound charge sound charge sound) bang
here i was expecting like 89000 shots to be popped off and just 1 goes off???
