The graphics are really lifeless and flat. Sound is yawn inducing. The story is lost at the expense of effect (good effects non the less).
Don't get me wrong it's a nice flash. However, I wouldn't care to ever watch it again or discuss it with the fella's.
Dialogue may have helped this flash or a more impressive song with stronger ambience.

great new style & animation, liked the idea but the overall theme seemed to lack something. mayb its just me but somehow it wasn't good even tho i enjoy chess. great style tho

T'was pretty good. However i dont hink this deserves to be on the 1st place of all submissions. Since its good ill vote 4 nonetheless.
Okie Dokie....
Let me break this down... The art and animation was fairly choppy and sketchy. There was very little humor at all. The little story it had was pretty cool though. I enjoyed the overdramatization of a game of chess, but about half way through there were pieces on the board that weren't even part of chess.
The music seemed good, but the quality was almost like a record player, which I'm sure was intentional.
Overall, I liked the concept, but the execution was poor. Keep on rockin.

Well that was a very interseting interpratation of a chess match
the music was great verry original indead
great use of a pretty bland colour palet
over all it was a great anamation but realy laked intrest to me in a hole i was going to close half way through but the music kept me going
