I would like to consider myself a bit a movie...well super critic. I have been watching movies and animations for so long it hurts. I have seen some seriously moving stuff, but this piece is the top of the top. I loved this movies so much i called a friedn to make him get up... watch it...than call me back, and this is a monday night. I loved your work please make more to keep my wild mind at bay.

Just how I always imagined chess would be, if it were to be brought to life. Your character drawings are amazing, and the way those characters envision their world is incredible. I loved the butterfly/bird transition, and the way the smoke effects carried over was really neat, too. The ending was a surprise, for sure, but also done well. The whole thing had a slightly Tim Burtonish feel to it that really appealed to me. The music was a perfect fit, too.

An excellent short, my friend. Worthy of television, although thats not saying much in this day and age. I can't really give you any reccomendations, other than trying to make it slightly smoother for next time. The sound was matched perfectly, and the caricatures were amazing. A little more humour, and this would've have been top prize. Absolutely amazing, and going to the top of my favourites list. Thanks SO much, Scarydoll.
