Reviews for "StarCraft: Alliance"

Ah... the wonderful world of Starcraft...

Your graphics and artwork have improved quite a bit from the first one. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Another Great Installation of your series.

Ok it was great to watch, your animating skills are sure geting better. Good to see you took some advice from the last one, the voices this time sounded a lot better. There is still room for improvement however, i might be harsh but i will reserve my 10/10 for the last part hopefuly. As i said last time i think theres too much talking, your still spelling out everything. Weed out some of the dialogue and the movie might seem a bit more natural. As you see in movies, quite often a meaningfull look can convey the same message without actually saying anything. An example when the terrans are preparing for the protoss fleet. They don't really need to say they are preparing for the arrival and its going to be in 10 minutes, you could just show the SCV working on the turrets and the commander overlooking, then show the commander look into the sky with a telescope and see the fleet advancing, the show him sweating.Another minor thing is improve your script a tad bit, one example "I'm pretty good, we muyst be getting pretty close to the installation"- or something along those lines. A suggestion for example "I'm doing ok, we must be getting close to the installation"- don't use pretty twice, and use more decisive words.

Another really handy review! I'll try and cut dialouge down, but in your example there (for example) it's quite difficult to have him sweat in flash without it being completely cartoony - I'm just not that awesome at animating for that. I am aware of the wordiness of this episode, but the rest don't really need to explain the zantaboan since it's done in this one so it should be lessened. I hear what you're saying though and thanks for the examples on how to do it better.
You noticed the 'pretty' repatition that I didn't, but not the 'ancient' repatition, which I did (and did nothing about heh) - I'll try and iron out everything in the next one :)

Brilliant

Simply brilliant, mate. That was fantastic. I love this series, and they are produced with such speed! Great work, mate, and long live Starcraft---one of the best games of all time.

Awesome drama ; )

AMAZING

This is an AMAZING flash. The storyline and the details are your best aspects here, just fantastic. The little details such as the "never been in a wraith" bit was welcomed and brought the Starcraft world to life. The animations were accurate in almost all places. The only thing lacking in this area were the zerg and the skirmishes, they could be improved on. The battles, if possible could be made more smooth and perhaps slower. What I mean is I want to see the slashing and the hacking instead of a blur of toss blades. If their was one thing I didn't enjoy, it would have to have been the voice acting. I don't mind the accent, but it is the actual voice that is depicting the parts. It didn't seemed to fit as it was a person with a higher pitched voice trying to supress their voice and make themself into a kick-ass protoss general. That didn't work for me. If these things are improved on, you can bet your ass you have a winner.

-Best of luck

You're so evil......

....at making us wait for the next episode. I WANNA SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!!!

Seriously though dude that is some wicked stuff. Keep it up! I seriously wanna see what happens with the Zerg and all that. The presentation style is good, same with the music and camera and everything. Only thing I can think of is maybe a bit more effort on the animation. Check out the YuYu for what I mean. However, absolutly awesome!

PS. Make part 4 soon!!!
