It was okay but kinda boring.
I have'nt seen any of the other parts to this series, but still the only parts that were interesting to me was where mario was being chased by all the flying turtles and mario jumping on koopas head.
The music was the only part keeping me from feeling like clicking the X button. It would've been alot better if it was paced faster in alot of the scenes

You turned Super Mario Brothers into Final Fantasy! I wonder if they could have done that with the original game?

This cartoon, and this series, is entirely too melodramatic for a flash cartoon where all the artwork and premise is ripped out of Super Mario Bros. I think you'd probably have some cinematic talent and be able to provoke some legitimate emotional response with something that isn't a sprite cartoon. But then, I'm a guy who thinks sprite cartoons are an enormous waste of everyone's time and a disgustingly pathetic excuse for artistry LAMAO LOL rofl. They're cute in small doses, but this is just way way overboard. This would be overly melodramatic even if it wasn't a sprite cartoon. It might work if it took itself less seriously and/or the presentation was different... but given the means of (assumingly) young flash animators on their home computers, I guess that's excuseable. Overall, for what it was, the cinematic quality of it was impressive, but I just can't enjoy it in its own respect, it doesn't stand on its own two feet. Though I may be missing what you're going for. To risk sounding condescending (as if I haven't enough already) I think you'd have a great deal of potential working with other artists, and maybe refining your scripts and plotlines. You've got a clear knack for scene composition, but it seems like you kinda go off the rails with the epic drama. Like I said, with different means, maybe, but it just seemed silly. the NG dweebs seem to like it though. toOdles <3

[i thought that way in the beginning, luigi would've survived, but i was wrong. then, i thought luigi would come back to life, but i was wrong again. later, i thought toad would save MARIO at least, but nope, he's dead. even then, i thoght mario would find a power star and somehow come through for the, but instead, he just lets the lava kill him... great series, but the end needs work. (personally, if you didn't kill luigi so early, it would be a little better)] < so be Rawn102...
