The Finale ...
Well, for one that watched the series from its beginning, I knew this one would be sort of a retcon, because of how part 1 starts. But oh man ... what a story. Maybe its my choice in movies (I have a knack for watching tragedy movies) that made me like this, even with the ending. Of course ... you will get depressed, so don't watch this before work! Or AT work, as I almost did ...
Great soundtrack in all 5 of 'em, this one stays on par with the trend.
I wonder what would've happened if THIS had been the ending for the game ...

the series was gr8 !!!!!the old skool graphics,i think,are the best and i love seeing them but.....the ending was so poor.im so soz but its true.the story line,plot etc was gr8 but that ending!!!!!!there is so many things that u could have done apart from standing there and letting the lava hit him...without even moving or screaming!!!!!!!!!!!! i think u could have done a whole lot better..soz mate but its true!!!

Man, I have to say that this is the greatest Mario series of all time. I was expecting some voice animations after you made the first one, then I nocited that it was part of the movie, and it made me realized how good it was that you actually kept it. Everything was impresive, the graphics, the sound, the style, you did a really good job. I myself, am not a flash animator, but I made films, I know how hard it is to make everything go smooth; the plot, the frames, sound etc. All of I want to say is that it is hard to make a good flash movie, and it takes patience. Do not worry about negative reviews, just follow what you believe in.

The Best Series Ends With The Best Ending!!!
That was great a Great Movie Series. The animation was flawless. The plot pulled you in very quickly. The sprites well, I for one know about the hardships of sprite graphics first hand and it isn’t easy, quick, or fun at all (C++ & VB6 Hobby Game Programmer) and you pulled it off flawlessly!!!
Overall I would give this series a 1000 if I could. You show programmers like me that flash isn’t just for the ignorant like I was starting to believe. This is by far the best flash series on the internet. I’m not just talking about Mario series either, I’m sure that if you changed the names and sprites the movie would have still been good but this movie is outstanding and it is obvious that you worked very hard to get this movie just right.
The last person who reviewed should go look at the 500,000,000,000,000 (exaggerated but close) of the Mario movies out there on this web site which are “funny” and use 3rd graders tell their stories so the English is kept simple for the simple minded and get boring after the 2 one you see.
Thank you for making Such a Great Series it was well worth the wait for the end. I myself enjoyed the way you ended the movie. It is much harder to come up with a tragedy then it is to come up with a comedy one and you nailed it this one!!! You have the right stuff to write real movies/plays. Never give up on this skill.
