Strangely addicting and I need to see more =D
The music went very well with the animation, which wasn't the best but it was still very good. The idea of what storyline lays behind it makes it so interesting, its like watching the intro to a movie or a video game and you just HAVE to find out what is going to happen next.
My fav character was the martial arts fire guy, the way he moved so swiftly made me automatically like his fighting style. All the charcaters had great fighting styles, though we didn't get to see the prince, princess or the guardian in action :/ I REALLY liked the gun guy's reaction after the shadow puppets appeared too, classic.
Overall this was greatly done with skill and I hope that there will be more to follow this, and even if it won't be posted on newgrounds, I'd go to some lengths to see it! I give this a 9/10 in total. Great job, keep it up and keep them coming!

Im assuming (based on the scribbles in the opening sequence) that the "Pegusequine" vassal is the blue wolfish char. fighting the gold-armored jackalish char.. DO YOU KNOW WHAT EQUINE MEANS?? Although, do you mean "Pegusequine" vassal as in he is a servant to the "Pegusequine"s or he is a servant whom IS a "Pegusequine"?? Anyways this flash was very well done, but it needs some work, namely blood. Why don't you employ one of the fundamental elements of nature into your flash mister "I'M-TOO-SQEAMISH-FOR-BLOOD". SINCERELY

Well you need to know the full story: the Pegusequine dynasty is the ruling class and is primarily made of Pegusi and horses (pegusequine equine=horses)
Rygel (the grey fox with the rapier) is a servent to the pegusequine dynasty. He may not be a horse himself, but circumstances have brought him into a favourable position amongst this particular dynasty.
Secondly, I think blood is cheap and nasty: why use blood when you can use HP? Blood is like...sooooooooo overused, and it happens in real life, so therefore it's boring. I love it in videogames when characters can fight for ages, pwn each other severely, and leave no mess afterwards. Realism does not necissarily = fun in my opinion. >_>

Incredibly done, to the point of which I've watched this flash over a dozen times. The only drawbacks I can see is that it's too short, and that there isn't much storyline, but I know that it wasn't meant to have much of a story anyways. Keep up the good work! This stuff is A+ material here.
