some tips for those of you struggling
Its 2110 and I have slightly over a mil...I'm considering this game over. If you want help here's help:
A) Don't just maximize utilization on a field and leave the grass to die. Rotate your cattle to new fields every 5 years or so.
B) Don't use the fields next to the town for cattle, use them for grain or leave them to the people.
C) You can cut down a bit of the rainforest every 10 years or so...but don't cut it all down, a safe level is to leave 3 standing.
D) Don't use the beef fodder or toxic waste in your feed 1 field can safely support about 1 1/2 cattle fields every harvest.
E) You can fire an employee about once a year with no consequence, if you fire two you'll get a warning and 3 they will strike. That means 0 money coming in.
F) Even if you get the warning that your meat is going bad it will still come in...just at a steady pace instead of all at once.
G) In order to avoid sanctions here is what to do:
Environmentalists - hire a climatologist and run 3rd world campaigns
Obese - run food pyramid and hire nutritionalist
Consumers Group - run food pyramid and hire a health officer
Anti-globalization - hire a politician and run 3rd world campaign
Well there ya go, hope that helps anybody struggling...btw, great game. Makes me crave McDonald's everytime I play :-D probably not the intention here.
Very Challenging
Alright, this is a very fun game, but it was just too challenging. You lose money much faster than you make it, and you dont start with enough to affectively have enough cows and the food to feed them. I was constantly getting telled that there was either not enough cows or not enough food to keep them alive.
Complete with fries
Okay, so maybe no fries, but this is great. First flash game I've seen where you build a company from the ground up, yet alone such a high-profile one.
All in all a pretty damn good game, albeit tricky at first. It does get a little stale after a bit though. Also, some way to recover fields' fertility ratings would be neat. Good stuff man!
