its good but..
the fight scenes were happening way too fast, and the voice acting pissed me off for some reason..

Great, amazing, but still not the best.
A lot of people have comparing the creator of this to the creator of Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom. I think to compare it to that is kind of like comparing a Chuck Norris movie to Titanic. Full of explosions and fast paced action that you just can't look away from. I have to say, the sprite animation is wickedly fast paced. But, that's not saying that the VGDC couldn't do this. I just don't think he wanted that style for Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom, since he was keeping it very true to Mario. I think RotMK keeps truer to Mario than this does. I think the action in this is, obviously, heavily intense, full of explosions and 'woooah!', but the repetitive beating on Toadstools can get old. I feel that Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom does a great job of balancing out action, comedy, and drama. The plot line is a bit thicker, and closer to the thought of Mario. Does that mean Power Star doesn't make you drop your mouth with the fast-paced action scenes? No. But, when the day's done, it's still an action movie, lacking some of the charm and drama that RotMK holds. Watch it. It's great. But don't call it what it's not. And that's a classic on par with RotMK.

This was a good sequel to the first one. Will this become a trilogy? If so I'll review when newgrounds lets me on. I'll come back to vote for it too. Slight computer errors, during the part with the toad and the rocket launcher? Couldn't tell, a castle kept blocking the way. Is there anyway you could have subtitles as well? It was easier to follow with them in the first one. But overall, one of the best mario sprites i've seen in a Looooooooooong time. Kudos!
Really good
Definitely the best use of sprites I've seen, and the music went with it really well. Woulda been nice if it had concluded this time, but oh well. Overall its an awesome sprite movie and a good movie all around.
