Great tutorial!
that was an awesome tutorial. everything was very clear and you went out of your way to make it easy to understand. the animation was great and so was the music. i have one minor gripe though. the buttons and the text at the bottom of the screen was a bit too small. apart from that, it was great. i hope to see more flash from you and neophyte_ronin. perhaps you'll submit some with newbie animations. :P
I've read my fair share of tutorials and a lot of them leave me scratching my head. I wanted everything to be fleshed out and explained thoroughly, and, based on the reviews, I've at least accomplished that.
I had always planned to have more buttons down across the bottom, so I had them really small. I also didn't want them to be in the way when you're reading the tutorials. If you want to see them closer (and unobstructed)there's an easter egg in the credits (look in the last line) that opens an object viewer (that details virtually every object used).

I mean, it's something that I might actually consider using! No way! That's what tutorials are for? Using? I thought they were just obvious showcases of an author's lack of talent and originality and creativity, usually resulting in an easy blam.....but this....this isn't!
I think hell just froze over, because tutorials this good shouldn't exist on this planet
