Reviews for "Capt. Low-Rez: Blastopod"

Aaaaaah too fast!!!

This was well made and all, and it deserves a good score. However, it's just me, but everything moves too fast, it's so easy to get hurt. I don't really like games like that, but then I don't really play computer games at all, so whatever.

uber!

booyah!
its nice to see an action packed,
intense shooter with sprite graphics
again, such fond memories of the old
school material, though i wasnt really
old enough to play most of the stuff,
kinda grew up with sega..but anyway
this was really addictive and challenging;
so challanging it has the players hooked
and engaged to enshure its defeat, which
im still working on.
score: ****
kudos,
Mj

Addictive, and score one for us old timers!

I enjoyed this quite a bit. the gameplay was fastpaced yet still enjoyable, and the graphics really took me back a few years. One thing about the gameplay that stood out was that either by accident or design, it was adaptive. Whenever you die, you restart with the same powerups you had, making the second go much easier! Did you mean to do that? Anyway, that was pretty cool game, famous flash person or not.

Retro

It was a nice game and quite fun to play. I loved killing the enemies with the mega cannon. The graphics were very good. Lots of people say the graphics are bad but they are meant to look retro and making things look pixely on flash is a hard thing to do. The sounds suited the retro style and you've created something that looked like it was on the NES or something. Overall it was good enough with nice powerups, quite good gameplay and OK boss battles. I'd rather have a sidescrolling shooter but I suppose you've already done that with Wasted sky, Project Eddy and in DomoKun's angry smashfest. A very enjoyable game, well done!

awesome game, can't understand the criticism in some of the previous comments :(
