a good way to take it back to the classics?
Definitely a fun little button mash/space shooter. Though I wasn't entirely sure how the shields was really working. Mostly I didn't necessarily have time to watch either of my power bars go up, if that's what they were doing. Anyway, good game.

man this game is fun... oh and no your weapons arnt suppose to stop working.. i think your key bord just broke lol the boss i had the hardest time with so far (i havnt beaten it yet) was the second boss.. the super boss was only easy because i used my drain life when all the bomb pods came out and i would get full life :)

i couldn't even get the special before the pod blew up. some difficult techs goin' on there. but hey it's sought've ol' school, so i'll accept that error. it's a cool game, the graphics needs a touch to it.

It was a nice game and quite fun to play. I loved killing the enemies with the mega cannon. The graphics were very good. Lots of people say the graphics are bad but they are meant to look retro and making things look pixely on flash is a hard thing to do. The sounds suited the retro style and you've created something that looked like it was on the NES or something. Overall it was good enough with nice powerups, quite good gameplay and OK boss battles. I'd rather have a sidescrolling shooter but I suppose you've already done that with Wasted sky, Project Eddy and in DomoKun's angry smashfest. A very enjoyable game, well done!
