I have never seen a flash done with that kind of animation before...it looks like it was pulled stright from a cartoon! I absolutely loved your style and even more so, your animation. Quite simple the best looking flash I have ever seen!
So why did it get a 9? Well I hate to say this but, while the music was fitting and sounded good, I had to strain to try and understand what most of the characters were saying. I suggest you get a better microphone for future works, cause the vocals were not very clear.
But overall, its an above average. I can't tell you how much I love the animation! This would have gone into my favorites if it weren't for the vocals (and the story too sort of...wasn't very original or interesting to remember). But tune up the vocal sound for future submissions and keep up the good work none the less. I'll be looking for more :)

a lot of potential

very VERY nice graphical presentation and this music was fitting, but where you excelled in those areas you lacked in others.

The story line was ok, but the muted voices done with a bad mic made the opening unbearable to listen to.

Also, the "yo moma" ending was a let down...

In all reality, if I would have played the movie with my speakers off, i would have given it a better score.

BUT, it shows A LOT of potential, the music was fitting, and the graphical presentation is one of the best i've seen as a first timer on newgrounds...

Good animation skills, hackneyed stereotypes.

On the "+" side:

Your animation skills are excellent.

on the "-" side:

Have we not had enough depictions of brutish, ill-spoken thick-lipped black people? This sort of throwback stereotype really has no redeeming value.

..and the "Don't talk about my Mom!" joke is also rather careworn.

I hope that, in the future, you can put your impressive skill to work in making animations that don't utilize imagery that is patently offensive.

Loved everything but the punchline

Seriously, that was a wonderful flash movie but the joke just wasn't funny. I will look forward to seeing your future works, in hope that a good story will perfect your art.
