its is very sad that this young man, would reach out in this way. it is quite obviouse that he was hurting very bad, for reasons unknown and he chose the use of flash animation as a release for his anger and hurt. but he chose to "act out" on his pain and anger. taking the lives of innocents, and then ending his own life.

i watched this earlier this week, and watched it again today. I became aware (after your bulletin) that the author commited a horrible act of violence against others and himself. I feel that it was very responsible for the creators of NG to post that notice, and i appluad you for that. Its hard to find any good out of this whole situation, but it did show me this: even in this world today, there are still responsible individuals with creativity adn the presence of mind to know when action needs to be taken. I feel this flash (however primitive it may seem) should remain up with the notice to remind the younger generation of today that creativity should stay on the paper.
Bad Omen
What was done was senseless. What really disturbs me is that this is so similar to what the author acted out in the last few weeks. Could someone have known? Also disturbing....counting the grenade and number of shots fired in the animation.
In real life, 10 people killed including one guard and then himself.
In the animation, 8 shots fired at bystanders, one grenade on a cop car (same concept as a security guard)and one bullet for for the killer, total 10 kills. Yes, there are only five confirmed kills in this flash but he couldn't have known for sure how many he would take. He also mentions "This was basically just a test, or practice, and has no plot other then people getting blown away."
Of course would assume he meant practice animation under normal circumstances.

I have rated this according to the flash's quality, not to do with Jeff Weise. Also, to a previous reviewer, nasty evil school shooters are always nasty satanistic heavy metal fans and communists (or neo-nazis in this case, though shooting the KKK member in this flash seems to make it unlikely). Of course, the evil communists always shoot up schools. /sarcasm.
