I agree with Maxill also

There was nothing we could do as artists and/or patrons of the art of flash. I have seen things that scare me for the thought that someone could think of such a thing and things that make me laugh so hard that I can't even write a review until the next day. This, atleast to me, shouldn't be on the front page and shouldn't be getting so many hits either. This young man killed nine innocent ppl... and sorry to say i counted and if u keep with the one supreme accuracy of the shooter in target practice then the character shot 8 (9 if you count the cop car as having 2 ppl in it) then himself... Pretty damn close to what he actually did. Thoughts like this do not come and go lightly... but still he can not be criticized on that point. If it was his plan then there was nothing that could be done by any of us and especially now there is nothing to do... This submission is now just an insult to the families that lost children and I hope that they have no other children that might possibly watch this. I beg of anyone that would read this to have this taken off the site...

Why?

It's very popular for people to curse this person. Not that I anyway condone his actions, but we cannot constantly call him a "pussy" or think he is a freak. We have to examine the causes. WHY would someone do this? Aside from the easy reach of guns in America, what could motivate him to do this? Perhaps insufficient money being put towards helping individuals like this? (Cheers, Republicans!) Undertrained staff? Or was he simply a product of an alienation culture? Whatever the reason (and I suspect a combination of the above), swearing at a corpse will do nothing. We have to find the source of this. Until we do this, America will just be a nation of "Columbine Clocks" counting down to zero. Perhaps also teaching the youth to be more compassionate... but that's no easy task.

im sorry that you had to do what you thought u had to be done. im sure you could have found a better way(say counceling) to handle all the hate that ppl had been putting on you. everyone gets picked on sometime in there life either in front of their face or behind their backs. you didnt have to take the 9 other ppl with you to death.

I agree with Maxill

Maxill puts up a very good point, and I agree with him. Though what "jeff" did was unspeakably horrible, this entry is shockingly similar to numerous entries that we have here in the site. Too often to just turnour head and laugh at someone getting the crap kicked out of them, or seeing a "hero" shoot thousands of enemies to get to the boss and kill him with a kitana.

I think the real thing to remember is that this place is meant to be a site for animation and expression, whatever that expression might be. But we can't forget that there are people who need help, and that this kind of thing can't be looked at lightly.
