Creepy

As far as an animation goes, this was very well animated, but call me assumptious if you will, but in this movie, 9 bullets were fired and a police car was blown up. 10 possible deaths in total. In reality Jeff shot dead 9 people then took his own life totaling 10. Coincidence? Now I've read up alot on Jeff as I was interested and judging by all of the forum posts and profiles I could find of him Including his personal website it seems as if his peers drove him across the line. When his father commited suicide 4 years ago, one of jeffs peers father was the one trying to talk him out of it....unsuccessfully. The son of this man was shot dead first (after his grandfather and grandfathers girlfriend) which raises some questions. I believe Jeff was juggling the idea of "shooting up the school", as it has appeared on several forums visited by Jeff written like a year ago. Oh well whats done is done. may god have mercy on his soul.

BIG DEAL!!!

well, i don't understand why this is such a large deal, yes, i'ts a cry for help, but have you looked at the other animations on here? there's a ton of animations just like this. It's sad that all those people had to die, but what will happen next? are all flash animations going to have to be regulated for violent content, and each person that makes them investigated and background checked to make sure they don't do anything? it's freedom to express yourself, unfortunately, this child couldn't do it just in an artistic form, he had to do it in real life.

It makes me hurt inside...

I'm watching the final cries for help that this kid produced, and all I can feel is sadness, sadness, sadness. I can't believe that his parents had no idea that this turmoil was going on inside their son. And if they did, I can't believe that they didn't get him some help. Because he needed it, and now it's too late.

I don't care who you are; I don't care how messed up you think your life is; suicide and murder are never the answer. It doesn't matter if you're Christian, Buddhist, Taoist, Jewish, or none of the above. As human beings, it's part of our own sense of reason to KNOW that killing one of our own is wrong. And people like this kid have diseases plaguing their minds that we can't even begin to fathom. Ignorance isn't an excuse anymore. We know too much about modern psychology to deny that depression, schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses are serious, life threatening, but above all else are CURABLE. I'm living proof. And anyone who refuses to get someone they care about the help that they need is only doing his or her part to proliferate these tragic types of incidents. Get these people the help that they need and deserve!

life often imitates art

perhaps its not anybody else's fault but the parents. Lets hope the media doesnt go around and pointing fingers at this website jsut becuse this guy was a part of newgrounds. Staff at newgrounds has put up a ratings system, mabe the parents should pay more attention to what their kids get into.

Seriously..

Let me just vent a little here...

When the Columbine incident went down, I was in junior high. At the time, I was one of those kids you would probably peg as someone who would shoot up the school. And obviously, I never did. I did feel some empathy for the shooters, and most of all I could at least understand why they did it, partially anyway.

Now, I'm going out on a limb and figuring that there are people like I was that are on NG that probably feel the same way I did. So, to those people: I'm really sorry that people might give you shit, but it eventually passes.

Finally, I want to point out that I also played violent video games, listened to violent music, wrote violent poetry, and if I had possessed the skill that this kid did, I probably would have made violent flash games. If any representative of the media reads this, hear this one message: it wasn't any of these above mention things that made him do it. Personally, I blame American society.
