Reviews for "Draw Like A Pro"

Alright.

You're a great artist, but it really doesn't help people that don't know how to draw already. A lot of the time you just put in something complex and said draw the [complex object]. Same thing with the shading. Shading is tough to do and just saying "do the shading" doesn't help the non-artists out there.

KorteX responds:

Yes, i am srry i should have been more elaborate, ill be sure to make better ones in the future. Thank you.

How to draw or how to copy?

If you're using pictures as reference as you said, it means to look at others drawings and adapt it into your own style; or draw that figure in other poses.
One thing that annoyed me was the part where you had suddenly added shadows in without saying why you have put the shadows in where you did, do you know why the shadows are where they are or was that just how they looked on the picture you copied.(Also i have no idea what you mean by convert to MC)
Copying pictures is easy enough for most people but creating original drawing is what requires a tutorial.
Sorry but this dosen't strike me as a tutorial; more like an idea you came up with to try and show off a few drawings.

Nice drawings though:)

KorteX responds:

Well thats what most peoples art styles come from, adapting other styles and making them uniqe to your own.But ill try another tut with my own stuff and ill be more elaborate.

cool

I liked it but there was no music. The drawings were good though.I guess that could help someone out there.

KorteX responds:

Thanks.

Well drawn...

Good for drawing, but animating is a different matter...

If it were something like a "comic book" style of movie, this would work well, but for traditional flash animation it would be a bit more challenging.

Nice art though.

Interesting

I'm not going to claim you're untalented or that you traced that, because I can see that both are entirely untrue. I will say however, that you should try to make a tutorial that shows people how to draw these characters in their own unique positions, not ones from the original pictures. That would require a uniform base structure, like stick-figures and circles.

You may also want to look into facial styles for each character/artist, analyze how to do the eyes/nose/ears/hair, facial expressions, etc. Learning the face is almost half the effort in drawing a character.

Otherwise, nice tutorial. I hope this helps many beginners like I was back in the day find their own style.
