Reviews for "RPG Platformer Tutorial"

Interesting, some ideas

Interesting, I had some trouble quickly learning the rules for the tutorial. Maybe if those were easier, like a button that says "help" instead of down arrow, or the splat. Nice layout, you spent time making it, instead of print screening it, but then it contradicts the code you tell me to copy and paste! :) oh well. I would have liked to have tested out what it was supposed to do in, the final product, at the very end.

Everblayde responds:

Lets see here. I remember my friend having a problem with my tutorial if he copied using ctrl-c. So, I guess try copying using rightclick > copy. If thats not the problem maybe I made an error.

IT was okay...

It was okay but i have one complaint... where do you paste the script on the actionscript? Do you go to expert mode and paste it there. I put the help button but it made absolutely no sense to me at all. If you know what im talking about can you explain it by responding or sending me an email at therham@hotmail.com thanks,

Everblayde responds:

Should just right click on the thing that I am telling you to add the actionscript to and click "actions"
If you could email me at ilverantil@aol.com and tell me what flash your using I could be more helpfull.

Cool

I learnt how 2 make them jump!!

and i no where 2 put the instance name!!!
At the bottom in properties click on the item and it has a box inside it it has <instance name>!!

Real good except 4 the music!

taught me couple of things

just too slow

for the "panels?" people

good tut... and to all those who dont have panels... I have Flash CS3 proffesional and instance name is under the properties tab at the bottom of the flash window.
It should have a drop down menu with "Movie Clip" in it then under that, it should have a box with the gray letters <instance name>. put your instance name there
