That's an awesome first five seconds lol. I can a tiny bit of tinkering needed. For some reason when the 'camera' swoops in it look like the background starts out compressed then it's stretched heightwise. Don't know if that's true but that's what i saw :P

Wow, I thought you mistook this for the photography thread when I first saw it. Those are some grade A graphics and I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done.

Thanks for the complements everyone! I'm spending a lot of time preparing all these graphics in Photoshop and exporting each layer as PNGs and then importing them into Flash. All the layers are making my brain go nuts! I'm trying to achieve a really convincing depth of field, but unfortunately, I'm not too great at animating :\

I'm trying to finish it by Thursday but there's still a good amount left to be done.

It's pretty much all tweens, but in a stylish way (I hope).
If you look at the sloppy job I did on the thumb in this shot, you can tell it's tweened haha.

I looked at the second one... The glove doesn't measure-up in graphical quality; it looks a bit out of place. You need to add more shading/texture to it... Seriously, the first screenshot looks like a photo, dare I say; better than disney-quality.

Amen. That annoys me a bit too. I mean what the hell is 'Better than'? 'Better' in terms of animation, backgroundwork, colouruse, storyline, depth, character development, effects, cleverness etc? Nothing can be completely better than something else and even in very specific aspects you can have endless discussions wether or not a certain style is better or worse. At least give solid arguments when you think one artist is better than another.
