I haven't been on the forums much as of late...been hanging out at the Gamefaq boards. I didn't know about the new Art forum, but will take a gander at it. Thanks for letting me know about it...may never have noticed it. :)

If you would've read the whole sentence you would've discovered the fantastic word "more".

No problem, maybe another thing you could try is not using the doge/burn (i pressume your using these) and try using darker shades of a colour with an alpha, or add different colours to the skin to make the skin less "perfect"

dont use them? ive been told by a couple proffesional artist that its how they go about it. im sure there are other ways to do it, but there is no reason i shouldn't be able to use this way. But yah, i will check into it. Burning i think is easier, but i will look into using different colours.

and making the skin less perfect? yah, thats actually something i never thought of...thanks. i'll do that next time.

Yea there is nothing wrong with using doge, burn tools but it makes it very single toned with little variation, just simply darker or lighter versions of the same colour. But it can also look effective so it just depends what you like.

Add a big wart to his face.

Meh, I have gotten back to doodling in Flash. Here is another attempt at drawing a main character that looks similar to me, but in all honestly probably looks a lot better than me.
