Hmm, had to backtrack a bit and see if such info's been immortalized somehow... going by the hexalist it seems Ozcar was at least closest to 20k, with 18k posts back in 5/4/2005 - before there was a lapse in records and it gets difficult to check. Maus and ZeroAsALimit weren't listed here at all though at the time...

According to this I'd assume ZeroAsALimit was at least first to 40,000.

In 8/2007 Maus was at 33k, Ozcar at 32k, and ZeroAsALimit already a whooping 45k.

Would assume ZeroAsALimit was thus first to 30k too, and possibly also 20k, though profile pages only existed in their current form since late 2007 so it gets difficult to backtrack that way too... going by this it seems he was well past 30k even before 2007...

First one to 20k's a bit less certain though. ZAAL signed up a bit later than for example Ozcar; didn't post that fast initially, and 30k's not obvious...

Intriguing if anyone actually has some screencaps/other data from this time.

Otherwise numbers rise, but not much changes. The Top 5 Gainers are both the same and in exactly the same order as last time! And the Top Losers are tied with I assume a timely post decrease. Post the General forum closing off I wonder if there may be some moderation going on that would result in such synchronized general losses, or if it's just a natural decline of activity or users who've started popular threads, as seems to be the case sometimes...

On the main list Toocool100 rises to spot #3 with a slim margin, and there's plenty of momentum overall, with roughly two hundred active users in the roster.

I've got one pretty specific question.

How does the amount of reviews counts for the list? I always thought it's like "the amount of all reviews minus reviews under A-rated submissions" but in reality I never really knew the way of how it works.

Still plenty of medals out there at least, could always go for those. ;)

Agreed, my #1 nemesis when it comes to reviews for two decades straight almost at this point too. :) We've all been around a long time for sure, three one of a kind OGs around here.

All reviews count here, even those on A-rated submissions. Might you have gotten that impression since A-rated submissions aren't allowed on P-Bot posts, maybe...? And thus not in the monthly voting pool either.

Otherwise I don't think there's any list or area here where A-rated stuff doesn't count, or somehow get something else deducted. In this particular case the review count on user profiles are what's used for these stats, which as far as I know at least include everything. Short of reviews on deleted submissions then, there's always a certain loss with those.

Mmm it seems like our perception of time changes with age. Wonder if it's simply that the longer you live, the shorter a certain span of time is relative to the time you've lived already, and so smaller fractions of time are less noticeable.

Or that responsibilities amount, and more things take more time.

Or that mental capacity and acuity diminishes, and we just don't manage as much with the same amount of time.

Or that we think things through more; spend more time on considerations that didn't apply before, and so everything takes longer...

Probably some combination thereof.

You're definitely still doing your thing with reviews though, some day I will catch up!!!!

I think its a combination of physical and mental strain. You can't be at your peak forever. Sooner or later you lose a step at whatever you do best.

Mmm, may be, in some regard that mental state ought just get better and better with time, the more you experience the more you learn; the better you deal with that side of things, but maybe it is just a constant wear and tear regardless.

I hear at least grip strength just gets better and better with age! Current record holder's 73 y/o and getting stronger and stronger. May the NG grind have a similar potential...

Real life is always more important than anything else. Especially, trying to get points on NewGrounds.
