"Off the Deep End" Has album art styled like Nevermind. It also has "Smells like Nirvana" as track 1.

What stores do you check? Walmart is a good place to get them.

I tried HMV in Dudley, but didn't get much success, so I spent my money on a Queen Live at Wembley DvD

They don't special order anything? If there is a spot for it they must stock it up eventaully so maybe you can point that out to them.

"Straight Outta Lynwood" has been out for 6 months, so I wouldn't be so sure that he's desperate to get a new one cut just yet

Yeah, but he already has two new songs out.

Which songs?
I've checked both his main site and myspace page, and found no new songs other than the lynwood ones.

I've heard Pitiful, which I'm pretty sure is new, and my friend told me he had a song called money in my poop.

What paradies are on Straight Outta Lynwood

You're Pitiful, was a parody of James Blunt's You're Beautiful, but Al couldn't get it licensed, as Blunt threw his rattle out of the pram. Otherwise, that would have been on Lynwood.
Money in my poop... I'd guess that's either a non-al song, or just your friend taking the piss

However, there are good originals and pistache.
Plus, all of the songs he added to Polkerama (Let's get it started, Take me out, Beverly Hills, Golddigga, Slither and a few more which I can't remember the titles of)

Here is a great video for Hardware Store! Enjoy!
The Grammy's were last night and I know Al had two nominations. I'm trying to see if he won.

That is a discipline combining two of my favourite things - WoW and Wierd Al. Absolutely superb
It is pretty damn good.
I did a search of the Grammy winners and though Al had two nominations, he sadly did not win any this year. Funniest album went to Lewis Black this time.

It's so sad that Al Yankovic didn't win any rewards. Most of his videos and comedy that he does is hilarious.

Which awards was he nominated for? Funniest album, I can work out for myself. Best Parody?
the nomination was for Best Surround Sound Album. Here is the datail:
Straight Outta Lynwood
Tony Papa, surround mix engineer; Bernie Grundman, surround mastering engineer; Al Yankovic, surround producer ("Weird Al" Yankovic)
[Volcano/Zomba Label Group]
The winner of that catagory was Morph The Cat (Never heard of him...)

Mind you, I didn't want Amy Winehouse to win at the Brit awards last night - all she does is whine. Better singers were missed out altogether.
My nephew met Weird Al at a valentine's karyokie thing that he was hostiong right near my house. Nooooo! I didn't know, or I would have went. He even got to talk to him!!

Yes they do.
His originals are vastly underated tho. :(
Well, I've got a mixed reaction for the originals in Lynwood. Weasel Stomping was great, so was Virus Alert, Don't Download this Song and Close, but no Cigar. I'm not really a fan of Pancreas truth be told. It sounded a little Beach Boys in the middle, but it didn't hold it for me...
Hmm... Gotta agree: I like Germs though I'm not a NINny myself.
Weird Al DOES have that knack to make you appreciate tunes (or at least the melodies or styles) of artists you wouldn't otherwise give the time of day to. For me:
Couch Potato > Eminem
A Complicated Song > Avril Lavigne
Any other tunes that Al rescued from their singers, folks?

My favorite Weird Al song is from Lynwood. It is trapped in the Drive thru.

It's a little long for me, but I do like the bit where he turns on the radio and we get a spot of Led Zeppelin

Yeah, you can join in the fun. What's your favourite stuff about Wierd Al?

The Zep are pretty awesome.
Trying to scan through my limited knowledge of Zeppelin. I know it's not either Stairway or Whole Lotta Love
I'll have a look to see if it mentions it in the credits of Lynwood
For me, the highlight is "And he looked at me. And I looked at him. And he looked at me. And I looked at him. And he looked at me! And I looked at him!"
I still think the best part of that song is the punchline
