I've heard a different take on 'Genie in a bottle': it was called Hooker on a corner, but I'm not sure that it was by Wierd Al. it was funny though.

I believe his parents died of carbon dioxide poisioning. Or something like that. They went peacefully though, the gas made them fall asleep, and thats a good way to go.

yeah,and he completed the tour he was on in spite of it with no cancelled dates. It was during the poodle hat tour that I had seen him in concert for the first time.

His most recent album was Poodle Hat. He does back out the spot light, but it usually takes him a few years to put out a new album. In an inter view Al said this, "Sometimes I'll be in line at a Burger King, and a person would say Hey aren't you that guy who used to sing parodies?" I think he started recording a new album in July.
