Do we have any news on a rough date for the next album release? I'm getting antsy, with all this talk about new Al material.

nothing posted yet, but I would imagine we would get some kind of update soon. No tour dates have been given yet either. He might be taking some time off from touring to catch up with things. ye sit happened last year but he did lose both parents at the same time and kept on touring. I'm sure he needed time to regroup and take care of all the arrangments and stuff like that. So why not let him have a little while off touring? He certainly didn't want to dissapoint his fans by cancelling.

Apparently, he's writing new material, but it could be about a year or two before it surfaces.

Yes it is. What i just heard in this club he is writing some new stuff now but it might be 1 or 2 years before it comes out. I can't wait just started listening to him again. I always wanted that permenant records thing. If it is the one with his face 4 times on the front with 4 cds.

The simpsons reference is correct. He was in Futurama, as a head in a jar at the head museum and he was frozen in a tube, bearing the slogan 'Eat it' on a T-Shirt.

He was in The Naked Gun, not Die Hard. Leslie Nielsen would not associate himself with anything so serious as Die Hard.

He also did one of the songs for 'Transformers the Movie' before they got shit and made new crappy cartoons. He sang 'Dare to be Stupid'

"Spy Hard" is the movie your thinking of. Weird Al does the opening song, and his head explodes.
