Sure thing, not a problem.

How do you like this one? I can make more adjustments if you like. I don't think someone should accept a sig unless they are completely satisfied with it.

Hey, isthatlegal. I am sorry about that other forum thing I made. It was going to be something for just the NG Army and no one else, but I don't know what I was doing. I have now made a couple of topics and made an ass of myself once again. I really have a few things to learn. Sorry about that. I made a new sig, although maybe not as good as some of the others.

Response to Amature sig makers 2003-10-31 16:12:08

I forgot the damn pic again. This is turning into a bad habit.

cool pic ur work is getting really gud!

yeah the other topic...well enough said..it's urs...so everything is upto you, i aint gonna complain and i certanly dont want an apology, you are the main inputter for this topic, and i am very greatful about that.

so everything is sound then!

Response to Amature sig makers 2003-10-31 17:24:19

I am still going to offer my apologies. I posted a sig in the NG Army and was told not to, so I started the other topic and forgot that I could just post them in here. I was going to make the other one strictly for the Army, then it got out of hand. Well, anyways, I E-mailed Wade and asked him to lock down and delete the topic for me.

I am glad you like my sigs. I have been trying out different things each time, so I am hoping to find a good groove that fits me well.

Another new sig that I made. I swear, I make like 5 new sigs a day.

This is one of the ones that I was experimenting with, since I found out some new things today. I am probably going to go back and do some more sigs in a little bit, so I will be back again.

P.S. I just want to thank isthatlegal for making this successful club. It's kind of like a second home to me now, and I am going to recommend to the Army that they come here for their sigs. If this club grows and everything, then the Army might even allie. That would help out this club tremendously.

Simplicity is the key. All of yours are too flashy (except for a few) and don't look good. Just a tip.

Well, I have a little tool that traces a cut out line depending on color variations, so it would cut away all of the white from around a darker picture. For ones that I can't use that on, I zoom in on the pic and Manually erase what I don't want.

What software do you use?
A good art package will give you a whole lot better results...

Well, here is another sig that I made today. I based it off of Final Fantasy, since I like the game so much.

Rhyno made some valuable points there, but i find the rule that 'less is more' very important.

Take a look at Mr.silv3rs sig. I made that sig and its not crammed full of pics off the net or a complex background, yet it looks unique and satisfying (sp?) does it not? It took me about 5 minutes.

Sprites are cool, but not always. Good to see you making custom backgrounds, and paying attention to the text. Not really much to critisize here, but take on some pointers below.

then he said some poitners.... look up idiot!

thanks for that mate, i really needed some pointers, but as i said, this last week, when ive first started making some, my internet didnt work, so i only had what was in the memory... i'd like to get on the whole "less is more" boat, but i havnt progressed far enough with seemingly basic shapes (like the one around my name in the sig incitic made for me) to get that whole thing working yet, so yeah.... also, sprites are just a good warm up and fun to make... well in my opinion anyways.... im kind of screwing around with costumes now....

well, ill take your ideas to mind, theyre all great, and highly appreciated around here, i think ill be making many more posts in this thread, especially if you guys at the SSM pop around once in a while (say like once every 2 pages) as this is a great outlet, and im finally doing something creative i enjoy

oh, and as for those custom backgrounds, theyre the most time consuming part in my opinion

the final finished sig ive done atm:
