Hey everyone, here's my latest work for Atomic Crew... I don't like how the edges turned out, so if you guys could give me some advice on what to do with it (and your thougths in general) I'd highly appreciate! Thanks!

Ok, some general hints, no matter what art program you use, ALWAYS work at maximum colour depth and only reduce the colour depth to 256 (or lower) colour when you are ready to save the file. This way any resizing will not effect fine lines and such.
If you load a gif into your program, increase the colour depth to 16.whatever million colours instead or 256 colours (or to RGB from INDEXED/GREYSCALE colour if using photoshop).

It looks to me that you have resized these images and lost the quality in the resize. Always doing the above sholuld reduce 99% of your problems mate....

I think the tips that Soho left you are pretty much golden. I'm also thinking that I picked up the notion that you're using the jasc software combo (PSP/AS)...also my weapons of choice.

The only advice I'd add to Sohos is that if you need to resize pictures, I've found that your animation shop makes a much cleaner finsihed product. While I can't say for sure why, I'm assuming it's due to the fact that AS uses vector layers...

Kep 'em coming.

Hey. Sorry to bug you guys again, but I need some more sigs for my website ASAP. It'd be cool if i could get a couple sigs made by different people or something like that. Heres what I need:

Wilson (the volleyball from Castaway) wielding Uzis and looking sinister, standing next to the text "Foleg . Com". I also think it would be cool to have one of Wilson bursting into flames and leaving behind "Foleg . Com" in flaming letters. I really need these ASAP, and I severely need at least one of the sigs to have the Uzi version that I described. If you don't like these ideas, feel free to "customize" your own and give it to me; just as long as it has Wilson and "Foleg . Com"

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

Maybe it was intentional LOL....... I did notice that so I upped the character spacing, but I did the gold effect on an image 4 times the size of the text, so it sorta shrunk when I resized it LOL

Hey Stealth, I made a new sig for you and I don't know why. I need some feedback on it. Actually, I want someone to tell me what parts about it suck. I don't need good feedback, just bad stuff. It's over in the ASM, I don't want to post it in here.

Response to Amature sig makers 2003-11-12 19:46:55

I feel like such a dumbass now. I forgot which thread I was in. Here is the sig that I made for you.

Response to Amature sig makers 2003-11-12 19:48:42

And I forgot the damn sig. This really isn't my day. By the way, if any of the better sig makers could give me some advice, I am open for it. I realized that I had an earlier edition of Photoshop, it has all of the functions and everything. Just not as much. So I am open for advice.
