Sonic the Hedgehog characters fighting Eternal Champions style would be so cool. I would love to see the Sudden Deaths, Vendettas, & Overkills.
If you don't know, Eternal Champions is an especially gory game for the Genesis. A sequal was made for Sega CD called Eternal Champions: Challenge From The Dark Side, & it's one of the most graphic fighting games I've played. I mean it makes Mortal Kombat look tame! I played it when I was around 8-9 years old & I know just about every Sudden Death in the game.
Sorry for getting off topic. Anyway, I think that a flash involving Sonic characters performing gruesome Sudeen Deaths & stuff would be awesome. :D

Who's the best at flash here because I came up with a great game idea. It can be called Sonic Melee where you can play as and fight Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Rouge, Eggman, etc. It would kinda be like Sonic Battle only Super Smash Bros. style!

That would take a long time to make it anything supreme. If you notice how long it takes to make great movies if you were trying to make it amazing it would take 3 months at least.

Unfortunately, giving it Street Fighter-ish combos will be hard & need a lot of spriting.
Either a Sonic Fighting game with Street Fighter gameplay or one with Eternal Champions gameplay will do fine for me. :D

Hate to tell you this but that game already exists... its called sonic the fighters 2
(sonic the fighters 1 was made by sega) it was created by a group who call themselves The Shadow Team™

Alrighty, I'm gonna join this little crew of motley Sonic fans with this opening statement: I am going to create a flash to educate the masses on exactly what is within the Sonic universe, making such points as:
1. Sonic's been going Super WAY before Goku ever did
2. It ain't a DBZ rip off until Sonic throws a Kamehameha around
3. SUPER Shadow, not Hyper Shadow, dang it!
and much more! Work already in progress, though I'm not going to complete it until I decide on an ending to this one Sonic snowboarding flash I'm doing...

Geez, pick at every little thing I do. Fine, I shall be more specific: the GAMING sonic universe. And, just so you know, plenty of people out there call it "Super Shadow." Just watch the Sonic Movie Madness series. The author calls it "Hyper Shadow" throughout, which obviously annoys me.
I understand how you don't think it shall get through the portal, but people have thought that about my other two flashes, and my skills have increased significantly since those two. Let's just say that failure is NOT an option.

Yep! This Tails sprite will become a Saikyoryuu disciple! (For those who don't know, Saikyoryuu is the self-made martial art made by Dan Hibiki. He's my favorite character.)
I was going to make the fur brown & add a few "Saikyo" touches to the Tails sprite, but you know how that turned out. :(
Well, haven't you seen my "Bounce" music video? I custom did that Tails sprite... and the Knux drum set... And Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik's keyboard... I guess I'll make a custom sprite of myself, but all Sonic232 stands for is that I'm the 232nd clone of the REAL Sonic. Guess I'll have to think about it. Any suggestions would be cool. Almost done with my Sonic snowboarding video, BTW. Decided to put Shadow in there for the ending and have a downhill race :-P
By the way, I KNOW that there are 5 official Sonic universes (six, acutally, if you count the games), like you said, Adventures of Sonic, SatAM Sonic, Sonic Underground which IS different from SatAM Sonic, though the character designs are the same, Gaming Sonic, Sonic OVA (just a couple 30 minute episodes that make the entirety of a Japanese "movie" of sorts.) and Sonic X. All these timelines can be considered seperate from each other, though I know of a few fanfic writers DO mix them marvolously.
Once my accomplishment of a custom Sonic sprite is done, I shall let you all know what I am willing to do to assist in Sonic related projects. Until then, may your DBZ NEVER mix with your Sonic, so help me god...

Good news. Someone on another site volunteered to do my sprites for me, & he rocks! He churned out some ideal sprites with Dan Hibiki hairdo, gi, & even the Standing Fierce! I'm throwing all support behind him & naming him an official buddy.
Why that is valid to this current topic, I don't know. *shrugs*
Well I could make the flash but the problem is I don't know how to make any god damn preloaders for it!!!

sonic is way outdated. they havent come out with any good game for a while. only sonic rush is okay. They just havent been putting enough thought and focus into each game. the games are turning out to be made just for a little cash. I hope the ps3 sonic redeems itself for everything

I, Unfortunatelly, must agree with you. The recent 3D games have been decent romps, but haven't lived up to their genesis counterparts at all. I think its just too difficult to capture that pure essence of speed when you're concentrating on 3 dimensions. It becomes much easier to get that feeling when you've only got to worry about length and width. However, I do not believe the old Sonic games to be down and out. I still own a working Genesis and often find myself reliving the good-'ol-days with Sonic 1, 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The only bad part is... The battery for my Sonic 3's memory has gone dead, and I've lost all my game saves... They all had Hyper Sonic, Hyper Knuckles, and Super Tails in them, too... I've tried using the PC's Sonic & Knuckles collection, but a keyboard or a joy pad just doesn't react the same way the genesis's controller did... :'(
