Nice summary Mr Luis, that covers a lot more than my rant, and more politely too. I wouldn't say the collab thread trend at the moment is too overpowering, although the number of them on the first page seems to vary depending on what time of day or week you're browsing. It's good to have an outline of what should be included in the first post of a collab.
I'm back at home now, I doubt whether I'll be on the forums full-time during GMT but I will try to help out with the moderating when I can

There's a flaw, though. A persons BA shouldn't mean they're capable of starting a collab,
because for all you know their BA is because of collabs that someone co-authered them in..
when themselves did NOTHING.

How about a requirement is for a person to post their (solo) highest-rated flash, and the
bar would be 2.90 (or lower, for all you lazyasses who don't spend hour after
hour day after day..year..after..godforsaking year..honoring Flash.)?
THAT way we know the user is not only capable of making a high-decent scoring Flash,
but can also carry his own weight.

I'm pretty sure this rule isn't necessary. I also haven't any solo project in the portal, but that's only cuz I want to submit my very good work. :) I can make 1 movie every day that will pass but I don't cuz making a movie with 2 will always be funnier and better.

Coordinating a movie is very hard. I've started a collab and it's running very well but I only make the menu and the preloader, no part. It's not cuz I'm not making a part I'm not busy with it. It takes a lot of time to coordinate everything and I also think this rule isn't necessary.
