Well, it wasn't my fault!

And never let it be said otherwise... just saying I wasn't really back, it turned out. NOT THAT EITHER OF US COULD HAVE SEEN THAT COMING. #;-}>

In terms of rank, I assume you mean. Because you'll soon exceed the actual hard numbers pinnacle I'll be stopping at, unless you suddenly cool the engines.
Yeah, with my Saves pace falling well short of the epicness of those like Afro_'No life'_Stud and Toocool, I can't expect to reach their current levels for several years. By which time, they might have retired, but somehow, I can't see that happening.

Yeah, well... I had rank #s you'll never get to in b/p, b, and p, but you'll have b/p, p, and b numbers I'll never get to, so... the balance of Nature continues, I guess. O_o

Sweeping Generalisations are the way to go!

Damned straight. If that's a good enough policy for bigots, well it damned well is good enough for everyone, I say! To think otherwise would be prejudiced against prejudiced folk!

Yeah, now only if it worked on my poor girlfriend, I might get a word in edgeways :P

But the downside is she'd have poor grammar and you'd have to dump her.

And me with a girl who's quiet as hell. Man, we sure have opposite probs. #;-}>

I was rather late for some gfox catch-ups here, but not TOO late. I dunno why I thought of waiting until the next Saves update, though.

Principle's the same, though.

Not really since Pimp spends just a minute to deposit his EXP, while Afro_Stud spends all fucking day in the portal.

The less pauses I take in this fight, the bigger advantage I have. Plus, me and iscrulz had that pause already for the previous month or two, so now it's time to fight again. We had to pause since iscrulz went absent (again).
That's madness. So if the USA and USSR had just not bothered taking any breaks in their standoffs during the Cold War, the bigger advantage... (which one of them) would have had?

Well, the fight's confusing now that I bought the GTA pack from Steam.

Awwww, you're gonna miss out on his awesome reviews for Hancock, Hellboy II and even Sex in the City. :D Yes, he went and saw that movie.
The man watched Sex in the City? Did he pay money for that?

Hey, cut That Guy With the Glasses some slack, he reviews a lot of movies. Plus, he must have thought a Bum review for Sex in the City would be very amusing and it was.

Where can I get some Honey Nut Betchslaps anyway?
At your local cereal dealer.

*checks the local cereal dealer* None in stock. :'(

P.S. I will not rest until Bahamut admits GTA is a great game no matter how old it gets.
from our most recent Steam conversation:

Bahamut: I've just had a good go at both GTA1 and 3
Bahamut: GTA1 was meh and I had several issues with it, while GTA3 was whoa

Close enough?

Hahahahahahahaha! But yeah, GTA1 was poor for these reasons:

1. Maybe I didn't play the game enough, but there was no plot and it seemed to be just racking up points until you die.
2. As a game with a bird's eye view, W to move forward, A and D to turn and S to go backwards isn't convenient for me.
3. When driving fast vehicles, you won't know where the fuck you're going and often crash.
4. In small spaces, you can get your vehicle completely stuck and may have to kill yourself or restart the game.
5. Crashing into other vehicles can be awkward, especially when they hardly slide when hit.

GTA3, on the other hand, is great!

CEASE FIRE IN THE GREAT FF/GTA WAR, at least for now... yes?

I guess so.

Bigotry versus Bigots. I like that catchy slogan.

Well, it's not quite right here - she was quite quiet last night at the party and I had to be, after destroying everyone else at the bowling - the closest score to mine was a 124 and I hit a 162 first time up. I even tried to lose and got a 132 and was pushed a little closer by my gf's Grandad, who shot 120.

No, he meant the Black Market - they don't sell them as general release product, you know. Shifty guys whose product fell off the back of a lorry are the best types for this.

Coop's List #18
Here we go again. A little quieter on the front of Saves made, but then again, it is a shorter month, so we can maybe see the paces pick up next time on the Portal.

Despite just having watched England lose the match 14-13 to Ireland, I've still come back to finish what I started about 30 minutes before kick off.

Movement
Welcome to Gagsy and broken machine #3, icean I hope you will enjoy your stay. TITROTU and LevelOneAccount have made some space.

simon has cracked the top 50, at the expense of Voidist. Gagsy and icean were joined in the top 100 this month by Perceptor, Metal-Therapy and Cyberdevil. That means that Hemlok, Cereal, fixit drop down the list.

I admit, I made cock ups regarding the positioning of Kolohe and ThunderboltLegion, who looked like some sizeable gains last month. Now they have been corrected, so the list should be good again.

Milestones:
75,000 Saves: AfroUnderscoreStud
60,000 Saves: harryjarry
50,000 Saves: Molotov
45,000 Saves: courtday
40,000 Saves: RemRulzz
35,000 Saves: TheDepthsofHell
30,000 Saves: Patcoola; Sentio

Below average for me this time, but still an average of over 31 saves per day.

So I've passed BlueHippo and re-passed Phantom, so thanks to them. I've got LockClock in my sights this month and an outside chance of catching AshtonNextGen again also.

Why do I get the feeling that you're going to prove some competition for places in the top 5 over the next few months?

Also, I'm looking forward to adding you to the Blammers spreadsheet as well - you're getting there and I'll add you to the tracked accounts when you pass 10k Blams

Awesome! Shame it feels like blam points are few and far between. It's shameless how badly I get annoyed when I click to vote blam on a flash then get the old "Error, this has been deleted" message, or whatever it says. I actually feel downright gutted when it happens D:

Still with the likes of Chris Beer getting deleted all the time it's gonna be happy blam days for us, except for Wade.

Pretty awesome update for me. I entered the top 40 passing 4 people in the process. And the only challenges that I have at the moment are Little-Rena and mainly simon. But both aren´t very likely to pass me within the next few months.

Thanks once again for the awesome update Coop!

That's madness. So if the USA and USSR had just not bothered taking any breaks in their standoffs during the Cold War, the bigger advantage... (which one of them) would have had?

Where can I get some Honey Nut Betchslaps anyway?
At your local cereal dealer.
*checks the local cereal dealer* None in stock. :'(

Ooops.

Did you bother trying GTA2? It's a lot better than 1, that's for sure.

CEASE FIRE IN THE GREAT FF/GTA WAR, at least for now... yes?
I guess so.

I finally reached my goal of less than 1,000 saves while keeping around the same pace. I've actually been gaining blams at almost the same rate as saves for the last month or so. This will make it easier for me to catch my blams up to my saves when I'm at the last B/P rank.

Don't worry idiot-buster. I don't plan on trying to pass you here ever. I rather not have a ratio that's really terrible. I'm right around a 2.3 ratio and I rather it still be better than that.

Why not just go for 10,000 blams and 20,000 saves? You've got 2k+ saves and only around 400 more blams to hit that, and that'd be a good way to hit EGSC, no?

That's a good point... and one that I'll definitely consider.

Would be quite nice to hit EGSC with a perfect 2:1 Save : Blam ratio. Would have been even nicer to hit EGSC with a perfect 1:1 ratio, too... but that's not going to happen now. Could even it out the 20k blams and 20k saves in the distant future though, if I really wanted.

No, you kinda screwed that pooch when you crossed over the 15,000 save mark.

And truth be told, would you really have preferred to have save-retired yourself on 15k? Think of that huge 5k blam mountain you'd have to climb now. Jeez. O_o

The amount of blams you need now is bad enough, but nothing compared to that.

Anyway, if you really want a ratio closer to 1:1 than 2:1 is, I certainly understand. I retired in 2005 on a 1.5:1 ratio myself, so... I had it halfway to the promised land compared to where you'd be if you go with the 10k/20k... and yes, I happen to be 1:1ing my account right now.... but not right on a number like 30k like you have the op to 2:1 on... so... it just comes down to what's easiest/most cool to you. #;-}>

Could even it out the 20k blams and 20k saves in the distant future though, if I really wanted.

Sure, but... take it from someone spending 2-3 years gaining 12k saves to do just such a 1:1 evening... the 10k blam mountain you'd climb would be... insane. Absolutely insane, man. O_O Sir Edmund Hillary would give up before he got halfway up that steep face.

Still pretty soon I will be spending much less time online, personal life shit to sort out - So posting and b/ping will no doubt take a hit, though I'm getting an iphone so I should be alright to b/p from there all the time still.

Well of course not, but since I have multiple people complaining about the times I do it... and you have zero complaining about the few times you do it, I figured that having ONE person remind you of the times when you're like me... would be just and fitting. #;-}>

Ah, everyone lets me take my time, although I wish I could get some of the replies done sooner than later. However, I'm still sticking to my new posting schedules in the Regulars List thread.

BUT THE TIME SPENT FUCKING MATTERS!
TO YOU, MAYBE. #;-}>

Should be to all, though. :P

Oh yes you can, most especially when you watch his Nostalgia Critic reviews.
NEVAR.

What? You dare defy the Nostalgia Critic?! He makes such awesome reviews and you really need to check out his review for Tom and Jerry: The Movie (LINK WARNING TIME). Such awesomeness he comes out when watching horrible films. If that doesn't satisfy you, try watching his reviews for Batman & Robin and Super Mario Bros: The Movie.

Since I'm out of luck for the local cereal dealer, where else do you think they'll be in stock?
At your local drug dealer.

Damn, I'm afraid I can't trust my local drug dealer. Not after what happened last time, so no Honey Nut Betchslaps for me. Oh well.

Why not just go for 10,000 blams and 20,000 saves? You've got 2k+ saves and only around 400 more blams to hit that, and that'd be a good way to hit EGSC, no?

Haha, you certainly give out great suggestions for how we reach EGSC or retire. First, it was yourself for 36k blams and 36k saves, then it was me for 40k blams and 37,777 saved to make 77,777 B/P and now NEVR for 10k blams and 20k saves for his EGSC goal.

Here we go again. A little quieter on the front of Saves made, but then again, it is a shorter month, so we can maybe see the paces pick up next time on the Portal.

Indeed, it was a slow week.

I am rather disappointed that I did not gain any ranks despite picking up 1,000+ points; however, it looks like the drop was due to new users being added to the list. Things are starting to get difficult and I anticipate only gaining three spots with heavy activity in front of me and Corky on my heels.
