Good luck with the cricket this weekend and going forward... it may slow your pace upwards in teh b/ps.... but as long as it doesn't knock you out of the top 50... you're good in my book, that's all I've been trying to stress. #;-}>

Well, the weather doesn't look too kind at the moment, but I've got to be at our ground for 11.30 am (Current time 10.15) in order to make a 40 mile trip to the opponents today. If they're going to call it off, now is the time and if they're not, we'd better get a full game out of them :P

I've not had a chance to bat or bowl so far this year, I'd like to at least have a go at one or the other today - I even made a spreadsheet to plot my personal progress this season - how sad is that?

NO! Don't emo your wrists, emo your hair!
It will give you an advantage over Cricket as one eye will be covered, meaning the over eye has more focus on on the ball ...(s) lol XD

And yeah we care about the lists, thats wht this whole thread is about isn't it, to compete with AfroUnderScoreStuds blam thread!

Interesting hypothesis you have there. Might have to try slipping the sweat band down a little next week...

They were both property of and happily maintained by gfoxcook. Now they are my charge, as of yesterday evening, I took formal custodianship of the Blammers list as well.

Are you refering to Afro_Stud's B/P thread, which he maintans at the moment?

I didn't even know about your blam update till 5/17, man. I haven't fully caught up on the BBS in over a week, I think, so the post in here you were replying to from 5/16 was from one of the times I was partially catching up, but didn't get to all the topics. Blam thread musta been more active/bumped (and thus more popular at the time?) than this one, so I didn't see it.

So... there ya go, too many other people were complimenting your new listmakery for me to even know about it! #;-}>

Of course, the reasons I found out about it on 5/17 were:

A) I noticed the link in your sig
B) you talked about it in a thread I was catching up in yesterday

I've not had a chance to bat or bowl so far this year, I'd like to at least have a go at one or the other today - I even made a spreadsheet to plot my personal progress this season - how sad is that?

Yeah thats right, and its no wonder, those comics were such a rip off at like £1.90 for a mere 13 pages or something? =(

That may be small, but I wouldn't have been bothered at the prices for those comics. That's if I was into those comics, but I'm not.

And omg I can't believe I got the attention of T-H-E Bahamut
Even more attention to you on this post. :) And yes, this is where people like me, Coop and Afro_Stud go to/went to on the BBS.
So this is where the Newgrounds Celebrity V.I.P's hang out, I guess when you think about it, this entire thread is kinda like a fancy formal ball room party with all of us as snooty millionaire guests wearing tuxedo's and holding champaine glasses luxuriously! =)

Bahamut with a tuxedo? Kinda weird, but funny enough, I've actually had that in mind. The sprite figure wearing a tuxedo. :O

Oh, and more attention to you. :)

I personally have to vote for MOM on this case, you can't deny she has a MOUTH ON HER! She even says Bastard more than once on that mothers day episode

Haha, the times when she shouts profanity is hilarious!

(which I just came back from watching, thank you very much this thread!)

Don't make me go and watch all 4 seasons of Futurama again! I already did that two months ago and I really shouldn't go through them once again so soon.

I wonder if New Spidey will ever confront her one day?...

Spidey failed.

Well here it is, I do't even know why I've done this now, I'm starting to wish I didn't!
But thats kinda something like my idea of Bahamut as like 007 Casino Royale or something?
The pictures terrible but I had this idea in mind for a slightly more cartoonly look but it ended up looking more like spyro the dragon and thats NOT what I had in mind!
It was hard to make out from that small sprite gif but this isn't the art forum anyway, and like I said it was just a rush job!

Uh, I'm pretty sure Hitler was in more than one Looney Tunes cartoons. Bugs was constantly slapping dat bitch down.

What the fuck?! Why didn't I know any of this until now? >:(

It's called war-time cartoon propaganda, man. It's nothing new anymore (though it may have been at the time back then).

OK, but Dave Mustaine's cameo appearance on Duck Dodgers is still crazy.

Maybe it should be done soon? The Bahamut sprite figure could be retiring soon.
WHAT? WHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? NO WAY, MAN. That blows. Hardcore.

I'm afraid it has to happen soon.

I'm afraid I'm not into Cricket sport. Infact, I'm not into any sports.
Nor any GTA bloodsports.

Yes, you're right about that.

Flanders > Hermes? I dunno.
Ehhhh, that's a hard choice.
Come on, that's an easy one. Flanders has way more noteable quotables.

Coop, I need help here.

Yeah make a cool new one of Bahamut in a cool 007 V.I.P. suit, In fact why don't I design one and upload it to myspace, shouldn't take me 30 minutes or so, I've never drawn a Bahamut before?

Hey, have you got a deviantART account? Whenever there's a picture of myself on there, I fave it! So if you do have one, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could upload it there. :D

Alright, THAT'S IT! >=(
AHHG all this futerama talk has made me go out and buy season 4 on dvd! Now Im stuck with all of them! ...(not a bad deal though actually at £12.99 along with 2 modern simpsons dvds!) Stick that in your stockings HMV! >=P

The pictures terrible but I had this idea in mind for a slightly more cartoonly look but it ended up looking more like spyro the dragon and thats NOT what I had in mind!

Maybe so, but I'm not bothered. Both are dragons.

It was hard to make out from that small sprite gif but this isn't the art forum anyway, and like I said it was just a rush job!

I understand. Drawing it myself wasn't/isn't/won't be easy at all. However, I'm still gonna make a drawn Bahamut character on my 100th flash. :)

Coop, I need help here.

Help, you say? Flanders has a few memorable quotes:

"Ooh, that looks scram diddly, doodly-"
"Get lost!" - French Chef
"A rude Frenchman, well I never..."

Of course, who could forget his classic line from the Movie

"Dear Lord, we thank you for providing us with this bountiful" *SPLAT* "PEINIS!"
"Bountiful Penis" - Rod & Todd

This is not to say that Hermes doesn't have his own memorable lines. I believe that I sent this one to you via internest and audio :P

"What are you hacking off? Is it my torso?!" *Hack noise* "It is! My precious torso!"

From the same episode (How Hermes Requisitioned his groove back):

"Sweet... something... of... someplace"

And of course the finer points of bureaucracy:

"Who were you chewing out, Hermes?" - Fry
"Meself. I asked for a day off, but I was in no mood for any of my shenanigans."

STUCK with all the Futurama seasons on DVD?

How on earth can you justify using the term "stuck" there?

Owning all the Futurama DVDs is not being "stuck" with something. It's being BLESSED.

That's ignoring his manner of speaking, aside from the "diddly, doodly," which falls under Flanders-speak.

I refer, of course, to his manner of greeting Homer Simpson, and the many other interjections and so forth that are completely unique to ONLY Ned himself. Not even his two sons or his wife, prior to her death, used those quirky turns of phrase.

This is not to say that Hermes doesn't have his own memorable lines. I believe that I sent this one to you via internest and audio :P

"What are you hacking off? Is it my torso?!" *Hack noise* "It is! My precious torso!"
"Sweet... something... of... someplace"
"Meself. I asked for a day off, but I was in no mood for any of my shenanigans."

All of Hermes' lines are bureaucracy or limbo related, and thus could conceivably be said by someone else.

His "sweet _____ of _____" type catchphrases are about his only true calling card.

The first pic was my drawing of Bahamut as 007 casino royale with a asian 'pikachu' type bond girl, I thought it was terrible and screamed it be removed, ...looks like it did?
And the other pc was my lovable picture of Micky Mouse (NOT Minnie) as a bunny cocktail waitress but for some reason that one got removed too, in fact WHY DID THEY GET REMOVED?
I was only gone a few days to satisfy my need to play the Halo trilogy, now they've gone??

Oh well I can reupload if you want to see them that badly but its really nothing worth making a big deal out of, just bahamut in a tuxedo with a VIP chip in one hand, a gun in another, (I thought he had 4 arms in that GIF)

I thought that you were a top 50 user prior to this update today...

Coop's List update #9
Well, seeing how people have taken over various lists in the past month and of course how Wylo has greatly expanded his Voting power list voer the last few updates, I thought that I'd give it a go now, seeing that we've got more than 150 users with 10,000+ Saves.

Thanks to Casualty, as he's helped me pull the stats quicker, but getting them into the spreadsheet took me about half an hour. Stat pull was performed around 9pm BST last night, after I'd been on the losing side again in my latest cricket match. We will win, some time!

Movement
Coop83 has moved MPA out of the top 50, keeping Dream-of-Duke looking in. Aaw.

Joshiwa has taken his place at number 100, dropping Heinrich into the depths of the post.

Milestones:
55,000 Saves: AfroUnderscoreStud
50,000 Saves: Punisher; Wylo
45,000 Saves: Rule
40,000 Saves: Basspro55
35,000 Saves: azteca89
25,000 Saves: shunshuu; Voidist
20,000 Saves: Little-Rena; Auz
15,000 Saves: simon

I'm currently tracking 160 Users with 10k+ Saves - That's a lot of saveage.

This should bring the Blammers and Saviours lists back into line with one another. Assuming that the cricket doesn't get in the way, I expect to have the update done by the end of June.

Happy saving :)

Well, seeing how people have taken over various lists in the past month and of course how Wylo has greatly expanded his Voting power list voer the last few updates, I thought that I'd give it a go now, seeing that we've got more than 150 users with 10,000+ Saves.

Awesome! I'm part of the list now :D

Thanks Coop!

Movement
Coop83 has moved MPA out of the top 50, keeping Dream-of-Duke looking in. Aaw.

Heh.

Joshiwa has taken his place at number 100, dropping Heinrich into the depths of the post.

Congrats Josh, ya crazy bastard. :)

Milestones:
55,000 Saves: AfroUnderscoreStud
50,000 Saves: Punisher; Wylo
45,000 Saves: Rule
40,000 Saves: Basspro55
35,000 Saves: azteca89
25,000 Saves: shunshuu; Voidist
20,000 Saves: Little-Rena; Auz
15,000 Saves: simon

Congrats to all of you.

111 is a cool number to be at... I'm not as far as I thought I was from the top 100... but making up the 750-800 saves needed may take a while. Of course, if the people ahead of me keep on saving, then the requirements for the top 100 will keep going up, which will mean waiting even longer.

I'LL GET THERE.

Thanks again for the update, Coop. :)
