Hehehahaaa, i stayed online from 1 AM (est) to 10 PM, or by my hours, from 7 AM to 4 AM :P

I collected a total of 1,301 points in that time. All saves of course, although i did vote 0 on 20-ish movies ;) And seeing that it was little over 1,600 movies posted, i'd say i cut myself a good slice of that pie :D

More worthless info: I started out with 7915 saves and went up to 9216. And how about THIS ratio:

Weekly: 1534 B/P Points (45 blams and 1489 saves) since last Saturday (08/11/07). Pace of 306.8 B/P per day.
(NG Log) :D

I finished with a slightly dissapointing 498 points. I would ahve gotten more, but there were distracting issues at hand. Bearing in mind this is the first Clock Day when I've had a girlfriend to contend for attention :P

I wouldn't call that disappointing except... you said you already had 400-450 by like 5PM NG time!!! I know you're 5 hours ahead and all, but... I guess your evening got busy thanks to your gf, eh? Oh well. #;-}>

The main flood of clockflash was AFTER midnight at the start of the day, after all. Though there were quite a lot of people trying to get in right before midnight at the end of the day, too. And then plenty of "hey, it's still Clock Day in my timezone" peoples, also. #;-}>

NIIIIIIIIIIICE! 29k+ points, eh? EGSC, here ya come. I wonder if any of the people jockeying with you to hit 30k soon pulled a huge pointgrab today as well, though.
Pieriku blitzed the competition and now we have 101 (I think) Supreme Commanders. I'm ranked 106, so I'm not that far away... I could be the next one if I keep up a decent pace :)

So, you had one guy with the same idea, but that's it, eh? Not too shabby. Aiming for EGSC #102. Is that including the deleted SevenStar or no? Either way, good luck to you, sir!

As of 1:30AM ET:
@ entry # 395100
@ 24731 saves (+542 since pre-CD07)
@ 60731 total b/p
Damn, you beated meh!

Next year, I will get 500+!

Oh come now... 498 counts as 500ish, same as mine. Next year let's go for 800! #;-}>

I might be around 34,000-35,000 saves by then (I hopes...), so I'll need 'em to finish my 36k saves. I'll definitely be saving up my time off work once more for at least another 5-day weekend. Maybe follow your lead and take off the whole week next time.

Well... actually, 2008 = a leap year, so CD will jump from Wednesday this year all the way to Friday next year. A nice Thursday-Friday-Sat-Sun-Monday extended weekend might be in order. #;-}>

That is it????

Hey now... don't belittle my accomplishment. #;-}>

I was thinking you would get to at least 25K

That woulda been nice. I actually coulda gotten to 25,000 this weekend had I voted more. But after hitting 24731 that night, I voted a bit more on 8/16, got up to 24742... then voted a bit more on Friday, got up to 24750... voted a bit more on Saturday... got up to 24760. I was hoping to at least get to 24800 but unless I get 40 saves tonight, and I'm not planning on spending much (if any) time in the portal later... I doubt it'll happen.

The key for me is to resume voting more regularly at least 2-3 times a week, especially weekends if not weeknights.

You let sleep get the better of you :)

Well, I did go ahead and get 9 hours instead of the 6 hours I was gonna try for. I was tired, okay? Work from Monday and Tuesday was rough (I worked 9 and 9.5 hours respectively those two days cause I was getting ready to miss the rest of the week and had extra work to do. ;_;)

Also, keep in mind that my laptop isn't super-fast, it's a $400 pile of cheap stuff from early 2006. That + me not voting immediately on entries = people were beating me to the saves at least 200-400 times. ;_;

I can honestly say I GOT 0 points from clock day, first time in 6 years. *with this account*

Congrats!

I got 0 last year, myself. With this account, like you said. #;-}>

I got maybe 70-80 with gfoxclock last year instead, but I was working that day.

hope you slept well.

Yep. Slept well during Clock Day, slept well the day after, as well. Nothing beats sleep. Cept maybe... uh... enough time off from work to sleep AND have lots of free time to do other stuff? Which I've definitely had these past five days. It's been nice. #;-}>

At 8/16/07 08:23 AM, Frostbreath wrote: Hehehahaaa, i stayed online from 1 AM (est) to 10 PM, or by my hours, from 7 AM to 4 AM :P

Nice. 21 hours straight, eh? I guess that sure beats my 6 hours straight, then sleep for 9 hours, then the rest of the day back at the Clock Day voting.

I collected a total of 1,301 points in that time. All saves of course, although i did vote 0 on 20-ish movies ;) And seeing that it was little over 1,600 movies posted, i'd say i cut myself a good slice of that pie :D

I voted 0 or 1 on about 10 movies with gfoxclock, but I got.... 0 blams, believe it or not.

Looks like on CD, 1638 movies were submitted, and only 80 movies were deleted. I looked at the obits, and I think like 40-60 of the movies were old flash that was just deleted on that day. Meaning.... I think only around 20-40 flashes were actually whistled or blammed on Clock Day. How scary is that? ;_;

More worthless info: I started out with 7915 saves and went up to 9216. And how about THIS ratio:

That's not worthless, that's badass. Too bad you couldn't hit or crack open 10k saves from Clock Day alone, but you just weren't quite close enough.

That's just sick. #;-}>

My pace for the past week.... mostly due to the 542 saves on Clock Day itself, but including the other bits I mentioned earlier... is 81.57. Which might not be as impressive as yours, but it's the highest bppd I've had since September 2005.

So that's something. #;-}>

It was considering that I went away from the computer at 10pm local time and thought "I've done a decent day, should be over 500" I came back a while later and scrounged about another 20 points and still finished under the 500 barrier.

NIIIIIIIIIIICE! 29k+ points, eh? EGSC, here ya come. I wonder if any of the people jockeying with you to hit 30k soon pulled a huge pointgrab today as well, though.

I checked the stats list and was tracking every other competitor closely. I'm dissapointed not to be in the first 100 Supreme Commanders, but 102 is a decent finish, since I can't see anyone "Pulling an Afro_Stud" and blitzing me over the next week or so :)

Ah, you had expected all the stuff that was still UJ but you had voted on as of 10PM GMT to clear and give you enough saves to take you over the half-grand mark, but they didn't quite get the job done and then you didn't have enough time to do it laters. I gotcha.

I checked the stats list and was tracking every other competitor closely. I'm dissapointed not to be in the first 100 Supreme Commanders, but 102 is a decent finish, since I can't see anyone "Pulling an Afro_Stud" and blitzing me over the next week or so :)

So how's it going now? I realise you only just replied to my post last weekend on Friday, just two days ago, but seeing as how most of the weekend has elapsed (especially on your side of the pond, where it's just about technically over), I figured you might have an even more accurate update by now. Maybe especially with the EGRL update in hand from Saturday, too.

We decided after much deliberation that SevenStar doesn't count. There was much discussion on this front during Clock Day on the B/P Ranks 51+ thread.

I noticed. I kinda like how there are two sets of numbers to keep track of if you value both your # with SS included AND without him included, though.

... though if any more EGSCs get deleted in the future, it'll start to REALLY be a pain. #;-}>

In all, i don't really think a single flash got blammed or whistled the normal way.

not worthless, that's badass. Too bad you couldn't hit or crack open 10k saves from Clock Day alone, but you just weren't quite close enough.

Hello. But there isn't much to discuss either other than wah-ing about how little blams there are nowadays. And how many saves there are, and how nice that is.

I say, the portal was nicer back in my day! You could rack up blams faster than you could eat a banana and say i'll be back in a jiffy!

The last update was done by LockClock on the 13th of July. If you're lucky, I'll do one this weekend.

If you were desperate enough, you'd do one yourself and then maybe you'd understand just how time consuming it is to get one of these working!

I won't be making anymore now. I have a job that consumes about 30 hour per week, then school, and a social life I must attend to.

A couple weeks back I was waiting for the 50 protectors list on the users page to finally be finished so that I would only have to update 50/100 users stats. But Newgrounds is so far behind and it takes forever for things to be done that I figure it's a waste of time to wait for it.

Hopefully this list is continued by volunteers with a few updates a year. I'd hate to see it be totally dead and forgotten.

I think I've got some free time coming up this weekend - I'll try and put together the list this Saturday, hopefully with the responses list getting a major update the following week.

Yea, I would have made a list if I know how. Volunteers are more than welcome to have the updates keep on going.

Yea, I would have made a list if I know how.

It's easy enough - make a spreadsheet, with the names of the top people from the last update and their Saves totals. Type "www.[username].newgrounds.com" into your browser and pull their new saves totals. Use a formula to work out the difference "=SUM (C2-B2)" and put that in the next column, to give you their gain on the update period.

Number the users, then sort out the records and number them in the new order, detailing where applicable any change in rank. I know it sounds a lot easier saying it like this, but also try doing a bogus news post to check that it lays out correctly.

Volunteers are more than welcome to have the updates keep on going.

I'll bear that in mind, your majesty :P
