But you seem to be missing a major point of me saying it was a joke that I was making by being OVERLY literal in "looking up to."

If you're standing on the street, and you're "looking up to" a person on the third story of a building next to you, watching them on their balcony, for instance...

I'll be busy with it for a few more days, so top 50 updates may have to wait a bit. But it'll be worth it. The only problem is that this list is going to be so massive, it may take a full page of posts to get it all on the BBS, and that's gonna take some doing...

If anyone doesn't mind being spoiled on what the list is going to be, exactly, it's the first 10,000 User ID#s on NG. Well, not all 10,000 (most don't have profiles), but all that have a profile or movies. It'll probably end up being 1500 people or so. The oldest account-holding/profile-having users on NG, IOW. And this time, it will be complete with profile links so people can actually easily check out the sign up dates and other stats. I've found a lot of interesting people that never posted a single post or got a single blam or save during this list making process. And my excel file is bursting (1.3meg+ file... heh).

As I suggested there, the top 50 updates have been delayed somewhat by the user ID list, which I've yet to finish, as I haven't done much on it this past week.

My grandfather died on Saturday night, for one thing, and I'm going to the funeral on Friday and there's Thanksgiving tomorrow and on and on and on.... craziness.

However, I'm about to rankup, and when I do (at 21500), I'll be doing an update whether the user ID list is done or not, so fear not. It's coming this week or weekend.

redrum's in trouble. While only courtday jumped onto the list this update, there were two others very close to making it. One is bmxgamer, as I mentioned last update. The other is HernetheHunter, who was on the list a couple months ago for a brief period, and seems to be ready to regain his 50 spot on it.

Greg's Notes:

16 rankups this time, compared to 6 and 7 and 7 the last three times. 14 are on both lists, the other 2 are only on this list. An awesome number, and a bit of a hassle to figure out which # of each rank everyone was, but my top 50 list collection certainly helped, as I don't remember the order everyone ranked up into each rank over a 3 week period that well. #;-}>

I added +/- comparisons to the last update's stats in the List Stats section, as you might have noticed. The top 50 saviors actually beat the top 50 blammers in terms of blams and overall pointgain, but that has a lot to do with courtday joining the list, so it's not exactly precise. Still, he bumped off Overtired, and his stats become part of that list's stats now. So, if any mostly-blam-centered people want to fight back, you've got to get your blams up and enter the blams list if you're not already there. #;-}>

Anywho, yeah, you may be quite a bit behind Crono there, but if you'll look at your s2b%, you get saves in the amount of 80% of your blamcount, versus < 40% for Crono. So even though he may move faster than you on average, I believe your saves move up faster than his do. Can't be absolutely sure on that, but you certainly have a chance of catching him sooner or later.
