Hey man that was pretty cool. It had a nice feel to it, like the menu flowed nicely into the game from the character screen. Graphics were alright too, simple but fitting.
If you add sounds in it'll feel alot nicer to play, as you'll know when you've hit or missed, or blocked etc.

My first attempt at A.I., there are only like 8 attacks (punch, kick, jump punch, jump kick, etc.), and I'd like some feedback so I can fix bugs and/or feel better about doing just about nothing but scripting for a month. Those type of SF games are hard to make. I think you've done an ok job...maybe some physics like getting knocked backward a bit when you're hit or something would make it seem more like you were actually connecting with each other...I'm glad some people are doing games though...

Our short little Pico project became very, very long. Ugh, thank God we actually finished animating the thing. I didn't want to wait until Pico Day itself to submit it. I'd like to think it's a nice little cartoon of its own merit :D

Can we submit any movie/game to pico day as long as it has the preloader or does it have to be about pico?

I'm still working on mine, but I'll wait for picoday aswell to submit it.

Well, you're SUPPOSED to submit it that day, so why not wait? It wouldn't be exciting if they got scattered out over each day.
It's easier for Tom to put them together when they're submitted on that day.

They are not disqualified, I asked tom about this in a PM and posted it a few pages back...
i still havent got my motivation back but im trying to force myself to finish this i don't want to do all this work then not even get it in.
and i garuntee if i don't get it in i'll want to work on it after the date.
Need to get back to work have spent the last 4 days having a nice long rest.

For those of you who are wondering if the use of commercial songs are going to affect your submission, I have PMed Tom and he replied with this:
A commercial song won't ruin your chances if the submission is good. I just prefer to encourage otherwise. :)
