Neat... ive been hoping people think outside the box for this years pico day and realize that just because its pico day doesnt mean you have to concentrate on pico. pico day is more about pico and all his cast of characters...

I'm going to try and get another scene finished tomorrow, I've been working on it 11 hours straight now. (its only a 30 second scene)
Then by Saturday I should have the NEXT scene done. Then I should be done the last scene by... the next Sunday?
*cries a little*..... AGgg... looks like im probably going to have to pull the plug on my project.. i had so much done, but since its multi-user i still had a fair bit of complicated server side code to do.. and i dont think im going to be able to do it with finals coming up here in college.. the contest was just not a good time lol... oh well i guess ill do it for next year.. well most likely i will release it before then cause i would like to get a server up and running and test out a mulitplayer game.. oh well good luck everyone and God's speed... maby by some luck ill get a few days before the do that i am inspired to get the code right.. but most likely this looks like the end!

Quite a few. Most of them were really top quality too which was cool. Have a look through the page they're prob all there.

Yeah but last year there were a lot of people entering that didn't post in the Pico thread, so we don't know for sure.

Yes I am sure there are many people developing flashes for pico day not posting in this thread. I think last year reached close to 1000, or maybe that was clock day, I dont remember =(. Nevertheless there were many submissions and the quality was quite high. I assure you you will see submissions from artists you thought were good as dead, pico day brings all great artists to the table =)

Yep thats what i was gonna say... i remember last year shawn hollern and a few other people just busted out a little something without saying a peep. It should be interesting.
I think that as it gets closer to the deadline you get a better feel for how you fit into the situation though.. usually when things are just announced its a ton of dreamers and as the deadline gets closer it widdles itself down to the people who had the willpower to see it through to the end.

I plan on entering Pico Day 2007, so here's a little animation I made yesterday:
It's my first FBF animation, so opinions and comments on it will be much appreciated. Also, what do you think would be better: All of the animation in FBF, all Motion Tweening, or a mixture of the two? (or something else?)
