This contest isn´t made by NG staff, it´s a fan-based contest. The fact that the staff is willing to contribute with anything at all shows they care and support the community.

Also, don't you think there´s quite some difference between FINDING three audios that sounds like "Pico", or CREATING a full flashanimation, competing with perhaps the best flash animators that are out there? Wich also brings me to this point; NG is a flash-site primarily, and always will be. Hopefully the audio part will be getting more exposure in time though.

So I guess rather than using any skill to make our own Pico songs, we're just browsing and making links instead. That's not even an audio contest, and I understand there's only a few days left in February but wouldn't it be best to just wait until March and make a better contest?

I would of been a judge in the first place but I'm leaving tomorrow on vacation without a computer. Also just remember if you don't get a lot of judges just remember your voice will count more which could be more of a good thing :)

I recieved some pm's of telling me "OMFG my entry is not on teh muthafuckin list lol >: (", as well that an entry is linked wrong.

Well, I found that error (not my fault :P)...but it will be corrected with the next list.

ALSO I'm putting all the "not so pico" stuff back on the list because Rucklo asked me as well for it...*sigh* None the less...People, keep in mind, for the final judging process only 20 suggestions will be left. Means "shitty or not as pico" one's will be sorted out sooner or later.

At this point, if you have not already gotten confirmation that you are judging then I'm sorry but you'll have to wait for the next MAC.

If you are judging, you can still submit entries - you just won't be allowed to judge your own submissions. Judges will be sent a PM containing additional info at some point this weekend.

For the Judges:
If you do not get a PM from me this weekend then that means that one of two things has happened. Either I've slipped into a bottle of scotch and ended up far too inebriated to actually send the PMs or I was just a total lazy ass and never got around to it. Either way, if you are getting anxious then feel free to bitch at me via email or PM - I won't take offense.

Still, I too am curious of what YOU think is "Pico sounding"?

Personally I would think of something fast paced with lots of attitude, late 90's electronica and breakbeat related. but at the same time it could very well be something that just suits the "situation Pico would be in".

Basicly, I would say that to find the right Pico-sound, one should get to know Pico.

Pico is just a kid who constantly ends up in weird (and violent) situations. He looks scared like hell, but still he's the one who DO something. This makes him human, and at the same time a hero for doing his best in every situation he ends up in. I would say he's quite a normal kid in school, not too popular, but no geek either.

How do you think of Pico, and what style of music do you think is suitable?

There are still a few more hours to find something Pico-ish before the contest close! :)
