It's hard to say what this shakedown will ultimately involve, but they are likely going to continue making RAW a show that coasts on big names and putting the good workers who need a bit more help on SD.
I think we'll see both Ambrose and AJ on RAW for that reason. They are likely going to trade places with Joe and Owens.
Balor might end up on SD to become the new top guy there as Cena prepares to take some time off. Nikki has a small herniation in her neck and needs to take some time off too, so I imagine they will probably be gone until after the wedding, etc.
Zayne pretty much needs to be on SD to survive at this point. Maybe traded for Corbin or Miz.
The women definitey need some shaking up. I can see Bayley, Emma and Dana thriving more on SD and Becky, Alexa and Naomi kicking butt on RAW.
Talent relations has probably learned from the Paige fiasco that splitting couples up is a bad idea, so if Naomi moves, so do the Usos. Maybe they get swapped for Cesaro and Shaemus.
They have got to be doing this with at least 6 month soft potential matches in mind.
Some predictions for the year:
Roman defeats Lesnar (who, frankly, is no longer booked as invincible) and becomes the Universal Champ. This guarantees money, because hardcore fans will pay to see him lose it, and kids will pay to see him win. Get used to it.
Roman beats both Balor and Styles individually, possibly leading to a long term Shield vs Club angle. It's been a long time since RAW had a dominant faction, let alone a faction war. They will, of course, rush through this and not have a satisfying payoff.
Baylee and Sasha end up on the same show, and Sasha turns heel finally. She'll probably be champ again. This will last 4+ months because there's just not enough women to do a year's worth of fresh AAA matchups.
Raw's tag division gets hot, but fails to be booked as important. Matches will be in PPV pre shows, etc.
Nakamura becomes SD champ relatively quick. Its not clear how that happens, but it shouldn't take long.
Naomi loses her title in her next feud. They let her win it as the returning hometown girl because it was a huge pop, but if she goes to RAW she won't be considered a strong investment.
Vince backs the Hardy's trademark case and we get the broken version within 3 months. Or they at least get the trademark reduced to the word 'broken' and just re-brand as 'twisted' or 'damaged' or something.
We get teased a TON that Angle is going to step into the ring, and it never happens.
Daniel Bryan leaves when his contract is up. He's been cleared to wrestle by non WWE doctors, and he's a son-to-be dad. I think he's going to put out a proper farewell match, probably for ROH or maybe Evolve. I could see WWE backing the Evolve match so they can maybe get video rights but not be on the hook if Brian kills himself. Regardless, I think Bryan will be going away for a while.
