So, the Battleground card is pretty stacked, then. Ridiculously good for what really feels like a filler PPV to tide us over until Summerslam.

John Cena (c) vs. Kane vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

I can take or leave this, and we all know Cena is walking out with the belt. Still protecting Roman by keeping him in multi-man matches, and as cool as he is I'm worried about him having to eventually break out into full on singles competition. I'm struggling to see him go 20-25 minutes with anyone. Hope I'm wrong, because he's vastly better now than when he had those couple of dodgy singles matches like the one with Bray Wyatt a few months back.

Cameron vs. Naomi

Not really interested. Naomi is great, Cameron isn't. Hopefully they'll get the feud out of the way and Naomi can go onto bigger and better things. Could still be decent. I'd pick Naomi for the win.

20-Man Battleground Battle Royal

Battle Royals are always fun, and hopefully guys like Ziggler and Cesaro will get a chance to shine. Cesaro picks up the win and hopefully gets his push back on track.

Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho

Should be great. Jericho puts Wyatt over because he's a cool guy.

AJ Lee (c) vs. Paige

Match I'm most excited for. I've been waiting for it since Paige took the belt off her. Give them enough time and they could well steal the show. AJ retains.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c) vs. The Wyatt Family (2/3 Falls Match)

If their previous matches are anything to go on, this is going to be fantastic. It really could go either way so that 2/3 fall stipulation is going to make for some exciting stuff. If I had to choose, I'd say Usos retain. Feels like there's been less build than their previous matches, so I don't think a title change is on the cards just yet.

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

Oh god yes. These two are made for each other, and they're going to tear the house down. I've watched their FCW stuff before, and they've only gotten better since then. It's going to be incredible. Rollins picks up the win via shenanigans.

Jack Swagger vs. Rusev

The first time I can say I've been excited for a Jack Swagger match. Here's hoping we get some Zeb and Lana banter on the side, but either way this should be a good brawl. Rusev goes over, as much as I want Swagger to get the win.

God damn the Tag Team match was amazing! Great way to open up the show!
I had low hopes for this match like i usually do for The Usos's matches but they may have just stolen the show.

Usos and Wyatts have been putting on superb matches together for ages, and this might be the best of them.

It was phenomenal. Tons of crazy spots. Loved it.

Hell of a way to start the show.

I know but i was just so used to boring and predictable tag matches with those twins that i just stopped caring much for them. They found some real chemistry with The Wyatt Family and that gave me my trust in them once again. Let's just hope this rivalry doesn't become stale.

Flipping tables and punching holes in the wall. Can't believe we're not getting Rollins vs Ambrose. Fuck's sake.

The midcard titles are career poison right now. People are pushed until they get one, and then all their momentum disappears. Glad no one I care about is holding one.

Also these Ambrose and Rollins segments have been so fantastic I'm almost over the fact we didn't get an actual match. That car park ambush was hilarious.

This is why Heath should've won. He's had no pushes in his career (Nexus and The Corre don't count), he's had no momentum going into this match (at least that i know of) and this could be a good little prize for Slater for all he's done for the company so far, he's been nothing but a jobber ever since day one and he's got no problem with that, give him some singles title, he's appreciate it.

Well...that was expected. Who's ready for Cena v. Brock at Summer Slam?

From what I read, WCW Battleground was a phenomenal WCW show. Circa some of their most amazing shows from 2000. Carrying on in that fine tradition, I see no reason why this company won't be around for years to come.

I hope Miz/Ziggler becomes a thing because they're both entertaining and it's something you can realistically expect Ziggler to win and you know the crowd wants to see him win.

Bray Wyatt is falling further and further down the rung to the point where he's got almost no credibility as a threat in the WWE. If he doesn't come out on top soon it'll be a waste of one of the best things the WWE has had in a while.

Reigns is turning into the next Cena, he needs some new moves or something.

It shouldn't go out of business but if it does I will probably give up on wrestling.

It's losing money by the day, i doubt they'll last 5 more years (if even that).

Bray losing was preposterous. No idea why they did that, unless they're setting up a bigger match at Summerslam.

Its not looking good around the industry with ROH maybe up for sale and the problems with the WWE network. TNA is pretty much finished without a tv deal.

Here's Drew Galloway (formerly MacIntyre) back home in ICW, looking like a fucking machine:

Also Prince Devitt has finally signed after months of rumours:

NXT is going to be fucking crazy in the near future. Devitt and Kenta coming, Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville already there.

I wish ICW had a regular show rather than just putting bits and pieces online. I'd love to be able to follow it properly.
