great ep of RAW

old set, old intro, mae young calls lay-cool bitches and sluts, jr did some commentary and OWNS michael cole, good match with bryan and swagger that got a lot of time
and sexual chocolate... lol

and from what i heard punk did commentating for the RAW matches on superstars so i might be going out of my way to watch it!

Odd that Punk isn't doing RAW...much better idea then having him on Superstars which no one can really get or watches if they do.

I liked RAW last night, it was a fun silly show for fans of the older generation. I also liked that we got some "resets" for characters who badly needed one and we seem to be moving forward with some story lines and angles. I also thought Piper's Pit was the best thing they've done with John Cena in years. Not enough to make me part with cash Sunday, probably not enough for most. But a very fun and unique show.

"The difference between Jim Ross and Micheal Cole is the difference between Paul Newman and Paulie Shore..." - Chris Jericho

one more reason to love him.

Can you tell how I really hate Cole these days?

Also Chris Masters is on Team Mysterio at Survivor Series.. he's getting a bit of a push now huh? haven't seen him on a ppv in about 4 years. Honestly though, I never really got why everybody bags him out.. sure he's not the most entertaining guy, but man he's not the worst we've seen..

While I really enjoyed the three hour old school Raw, there was one thing that really got my attention and made me liss what is no longer there. Damn, I miss JR. It was awesome to hear him call that one match and it just made the quality difference between him and Cole that much stronger.

It's also good to see Ted get away from the crap he's been dealing with and be put into a fued for the U.S. Title. I think there are good matches to be had between those two.

I've always liked Sgt. Slaughter. It was great to see him again. He looks like he's lost some weight since I saw him last.

Dusty saying he raised weird kids made me laugh.

Overall I enjoyed the show. It had a cool nostalgia feel to it.

Me too. And to see him top it all off with a beating with his hat, it just made me wish for the days when he was still announcing.

Best raw is ages, we had the 3 hours condensed into 2 so we might have skipped over some of it. It was good though.

I read the spoilers for smackdown, I'm not happy. I'll talk about it after smackdown airs though.

I don't like the idea of Master's on this team simply because did they REALLY look at the SD! and/or RAW roster and say "nobody else we could use...". Master's hasn't done anything in months really (other then a competitive squash with Tyler Reks a week or so back). PPV means bonus money, and I firmly believe those spots should not be wasted on people you're doing nothing with. I would much rather those spots and those bonuses go to people actually being used or with a good shot at being used in a meaningful way. But I guess they'll need to get "cannon fodder" eliminations from somewhere.

Wait, Dr. Wik E. Pedia, what the fuck is going on with the time?
"Kiley was arrested in Tampa, Florida on November 17, 2010, at 1:14 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence. He was released at 9:33 a.m. on $500 bond."
But in Florida, at this moment, it's 9:08.
Huh.

Punk won't be happy.

No, no one should. This is one of those classic cases of buffoonery that frankly any punishment he gets is pretty freakin well deserved. The kid has gotten a very nice spot coming out of the blocks and he does this. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Riley either disappears from TV, or gets put into a position where he's doing some pretty crappy jobs and gets buried for a good bit for this. Maybe he can go be Drew McIntyre's apprentice for awhile...they can share the same dog house!!!

Awesome RAW; they went out of their way to make the entire show feel like one from way-back-when, with all the little things like the theme song (and the replaying of it every hour), the parts with Mean Gene, etc.. It was cool for a guy like me, who didn't watch back then, to see what it was like.

Mae Young is so awesome, she can swear w/o bleeping. :P

When Mark Henry came out to the 'Sexual Chocolate' entrance, I nearly fell out of my chair in laughter. What better place than Hershey?

FINALLY, the Morrison/Sheamus feud is official, and Ted is doing something better with himself.

Christmas came one month early: J.R. CAME BACK FOR A NIGHT. AND PWNED COLE WITH HIS HAT! I wasted no time in saving that caption Random found when I went on here earlier.

Slaughter still has some fight left in him after all this time.

I'm not sure what was cooler: Roddy's speech to Cena, or Cena finally AA'ing Wade & non-chalantly removing the Nexus shirt.

They could've made him the 3rd RAW commentator, like Cole now is for SD. Dunno why they chose this route; like you said, I don't watch it, and I doubt very many others do, either.

Jillian

Odd to see this one, heard she was going to be a trainer. Don't think WWE ever got the most out of her. Stuck her in that Brooke Hogan parody and then forgot her. Kind of a shame as this is not really a case to me of "your time ran out".

Caylen Croft

Decent mid-card team, but lots of guys who are the same size, and can work just as well.

Luke Gallows

HUGE MISTAKE!!! Gallows had really found himself and was a great performer. This stinks to me of nobody pushing for him and he got screwed consequently. I really hope he sticks to it and can catch on elsewhere and either make a good living and stick it up their ass, or get noticed again and come back strong. I would not have released Gallows if I was WWE.

Shad

Been fired a couple times already, languished in developmental. Never really saw much in the guy myself, seems somewhat like a "time was up" thing, or perhaps there's an issue we don't know about.

Vance Archer

I think more could have been attempted here, but Archer hasn't really stood out overly much anywhere he's been. Again though, would like to see him ply his trade elsewhere and see if he can't reach that potential and get them interested again.

Tiffany

After what happened with Drew? Only a matter of time...probably only held on this long so they could put her in a release package so it wouldn't look personal.

Well, nice in a "hey, you exist, I know your name, let's talk a bit" sort of way. He actually has a very rude sense of humour.
Punk: Say goodbye to me? She won't even follow my finger! *waves finger in my face* C'mon, Kayla! Snap out of it! *snap snap*
Me: *trying to keep from dying of laughter*
Yeeeah. So I classify him as nice.

I'm glad MVP has been pushed again, winning his last 2 out of 3 matches so far. And, despite what others may think, I'm glad they're doing something with Masters. Granted, he still hasn't won any of his recent matches, but he hasn't outright jobbed, either.

Meh. He wasn't that good on the mic.

Shame, I think he held a lot of promise.
