Agreed! Though I also liked that Wade Barrett one that said "What the shit is this fuck?!"
Speaking of that.. That coma bit was sure weird huh? It also didn't really matter in the long run as Linda still lost the election. Hopefully now they can focus on their company instead of politics.
Pee Wee on Raw was surreal.
When do you guys think Miz will cash in his MITB contract?

That's pretty good and... did I just start a meme or a demotivator or something? Because that would be awesome.
Use a lighter font color that doesn't conflict with the pic and that will be awesome.
I think WWE is done with politics though...until the next time Linda wants to run for something. Seems to me and others this may be her new "thing". But jesus christ...50 million bucks on that? Instead of improving her business? The most expensive race in the country and she lost by a LARGE margin. Lots of exit polls indicating it was because of her WWE association (which is never going away). What a waste, and sadly it probably won't be the last time.

How about this? Seriously, this is one of the best image ideas I've had in a while.
I'm honestly not sure which of the last two Jericho images I like better.......
Damn, Linda..........you may as well have just flushed the money down the toilet LITERALLY. There's NO reason to shove that much money into a campaign.
I wonder what'll happen with the ratings now..........will they remain PG? Will the "Stand Up for WWE" campaign continue?
The McMahon bit was rather funny, yet the Steph/Trips part just made it a tad stupid. Yet still funny, and slightly implies that maybe the two plotted Nexus to do that, which is why Wade wants so badly to keep it hush-hush. Makes ya wonder....
Santino never fails to amuse.
PeeWee............I never really watched his show, unlike thousands of other people. He's.........slightly funny. The Miz bit was hilarious, I'll admit.
LITA. Nothing more needs to be said about that.
Big Zeke is on fire already, as expected. He reminds me of Lashley, but with better mic skills & more charisma - the two things Lashley was really lacking.

He has to be the superstar with the most potential in a long time.
Out of all the guys who have debuted this year, Del Rio is next in line behind Barrett to have a World Title reign in my opinion. He's already made such and impact and even though Rey and Christian have been injured whilst working feuds with him, they're using that for Del Rio's benefit which is a good sign that he's on his way to the top fast.
He has everything needed to be a top heel; he just needs to let the mask issue go for now. His match with Edge tonight promises to be EPIC.

THe only thing that keeps me watching TNA is the fact that TNA's Tag Division isn't a fucking joke... Excluding Eric Young and Orlando Jordan. Also, I think the best way to make the WWE Tag Championships legit again is to get two awesome wrestlers, who just so happen to be female. Aja Kong and Amazing Kong. Yeah, fuck that would rule.

you hear him directing the show and he even swears a bit.. pretty interesting to hear what Cole, Matthews & Striker hear every week.

lol. Good stuff.
I figured they would keep at it with the stand up thing for a while. This way they can truly claim it had nothing to do with the election.
I missed SD due to work but I read the results. I'm glad they are giving MVP a chance to work with Ziggler for the IC title. His talent wasn't really being put to good use.
Was it odd to see Nexus without Barrett there? I read that he was on a seperate tour when they taped SD.
Maybe its just me but Vickie should stay out of the ring.

I agree, it makes me sad that they're using the Guerreros so...horribly. Especially Eddie's wife...that's just terrible.
In other(somewhat related) news, I was searching up the Guerrero wrestling line thingy on Wikipedia, and I found out somehow that they didn't give Chris Benoit the ten-bell salute. I understand it was a murder-suicide, and I hate him for it, but that's just horrible. He was a great wrestler and he deserved a damn salute.
Yeah, my opinions are weird.
Couple things to address, as I too missed SD! and need to catch up.
Somebody (I think Swackman) asked if TV-PG will continue, and if "Stand Up For WWE" will continue. The answer to both is yes. TV-PG wasn't just the campaign people, it's about their licensing. TV-PG got them Mattel and they are making good good bucks with Mattel according to that 3rd quarter report. Stand Up For WWE is yet another petulant and short sighted Vince McMahon idea...all he's doing is preaching to the converted. I imagine the idea is to then have them go out and propagate these messages in the wider world but...ain't gonna happen Vinnie ma' boy!! The only thing I'll be curious about is if somebody gets hard way will they still send somebody out to stop the bleeding?
The Jericho images are awesome.
Also coming up on 900 pages so that's pretty cool too.

TV-PG shit
NO. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT. NOOO. *covers ears* lalalalalalalalal-- what? I'm gonna get banned if I don't contribute to the conversation? *sigh* FINE.
Grown men play with action figures too. Just because they have licensing with Mattel doesn't mean they can't be TV-14. And my first encounter with blood was when I saw a kid get a boomerang to the fucking brain at five years old, why can't another kid's first encounter with blood be when they're six and it's staged?
The Jericho images are awesome.

OK, have you seen the wrestling episode?
If not, here's a brief summary. At the school, they get a wrestling teacher. They think it's gay porn, so they make their own wrestling company. They start out by just hitting each other with chairs and shit, but then they started doing the promos! And they kept doing the damn promos!
What I'm trying to say is that wrestling is just talk now. Talk and increasingly fake looking matches.
I will never say this again, but South Park is right.
Wow, I just noticed that the guy's name was Agent Dickopopolis.

I'm not who you need to convince. Mattel has a certain corporate image they choose to maintain and a "target audience" they market to. Remember when WWE was TV 14 and they had that Al Snow figure? People went nuts because they thought it was a severed head in the package. The problem with this argument is that even though it makes lots of sense the problem is not everyone bothers to know what wrestling is or what's going on with it so if Mattel and other sponsors they've gotten through "TV-PG" start to get antsy, WWE is in a position where they MUST keep them happy. That's what is keeping their business healthy right now. But if they feel they can get more money and better sponsors through TV-14? They'll be back to that in no time. But for now all signs point to them staying the course.
Ya know what, who here is a South Park fan, because I have something very important and a bit worried about.
I have seen it, and I agree with you about why it's disturbing and I wish people like Vince and Bischoff would pay attention to it as their points are dead on (though I think it's pretty obvious the South Park writers aren't really fans). I've said for a few years that to me the core problem with the product for both the majors is they've forgotten the formula: The wrestling. Angles, promos, storylines, all have to lead up to wrestling matches that the fans want to pay for a ticket, or a PPV, or watch a tv show, to get. The problem now is it seems like the wrestling takes a back seat to the angles, the promos, and the storyline. Those things are the sizzle, the matches are the steak. What they do now is they think the sizzle is more important then the steak, and they seem unwilling to change that philosophy even when the audience tunes out.
If they fix this things won't change overnight (SD! is a great wrestling product, but isn't doing bookoo box office right now) but it is a core philosophy change they could easily make and if they stick to it and improve the creative aspects I think they could try to get more of an audience back. There are no easy fixes, everything will take time...and it seems like sadly they don't want to hear that anymore.
Looking through Jericho's Twitter page. (I was actually expecting to see him say something regarding TNA.........Matt, ya mislead me!) He apparently wants to host SNL one day - now THAT would be fucking awesome......as long as he can work in a MacGreuber bit.

They're using it to build up Otunga's eventual revolt.

They usually are, whether one wants to admit it or not. TNA is still the most guilty of this, but RAW seems to be catching up slightly.

anyways finally got around to watching SD! and I noticed that there's another man on Cole's hit list... MVP.
If Cole starts bagging on Kofi Kingston, Ezekiel Jackson or Mark Henry I will start to assume that Michael Cole is indeed a racist..

The Wii version is crap, all other are incredible.
I've realized that after playing the 2010 DS game. Granted, the DS is probably the lowest-end system out of all of the current ones, but still, it paled in comparison to even that one for the ORIGINAL XBox I played years ago (I think it was the '07 one).
I'd still like a Wii for certain games (including a few GameCube games I never got the chance to play), but one of the other 2 (I'm still leery of the X360) is starting to sound a lot better.
Wow, I really should explore the different sections of these forums more often. Big fan of WWE, can't wait for RAW tonight.
So an Irishman, and Italian, and a Russian are having tea in England, stop me if you've heard this one. Seriously though, that was freaking fantastic. I know WWE goes over board with stuff like this, but I don't care, Santino makes is work.
I am a new terror born in death, a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.
I've found myself getting back into this yet I never actually talked too in depth with other people about it. Gotta say, I still find the programs to be as interesting as I remember before. But I was surprised to find that I'm liking Smackdown more than Raw at the moment, which usually wasn't the case. Even with Raw's Nexus/Cena predicament, Smackdown seems to have a better variety of talent, they're using their talent in better ways, and they have in my opinion a better overall announce team, though I wish Micheal Cole would just stay only on Raw so I only would have to hear him fail miserably at trying to be a heel announcer once a week.
Raw tonight was about as average as it could be. Nothing special except for the last match which was mostly copying off Smackdown's top match last week, save for the special guest ref. Everyone got their shots in and there was some solid wrestling.
Storywise, the unrest of David Otunga and his possible future expulsion from Nexus could be played out in a few different ways that could potentially affect the Survivor Series match. And that's not even touching my first thought which is that Miz will use his MITB chance at the PPV which would end up compromising the deal Barrett made with Cena in some way or another. There are a lot of other little caveats to it all such as Miz screwing over Orton at the end of the match, which I suspect we'll find out more about next week, but overall, nothing else really seemed to be worth mentioning.
I was generally happy with yesterdays episode, not fantastic but it was nice. Though the Sheamus/Santino rivalry will probably need to die out soon, i'm guessing Sheamus's focus will go onto Morrisson soon enough. It has been funny though.
