Let me answer your questions as I'm assuming they were quite serious.
Seriously, why is Vince holding onto ECW when MOST OF IT IS ON TNA NOW!?
Vince and co don't care about the ECW fanbase. They do care about having that footage though as fodder for 24/7 and future DVD releases. To be blunt (and hey, I was diehard in the revolution of ECW from 1999 right up until the day the bankruptcy went through), the only asset ECW really had was it's video library. That's what Vince wanted it for, and that's what he got. As far as the letters, to Vince's mind now that's something he has spent time and money trying to build into a third brand for WWE (let's not get into how well or how shitty that build has been, it's irrelevant to the discussion at hand). So to Vince's mind he's made an investment in it and there's no way he's going to "abandon" that investment now unless he thinks it makes the most sense for him financially and ego wise.
Y'know what? Dreamer should just go on to TNA, then Paul Heyman can join in, and then maybe Heyman & Jarrett can work together to buy ECW back from Vince - it should be cheap by now, and now there's that WWE Superstars thing on WGN, so there's not much of a loss.
Dreamer just might head down there, I can't see anything about or with TNA at the present moment that would make me think Dreamer would steer clear of the company.
I think Paul Heyman is well and truly done with wrestling unless he gets a fuck ton of money somewhere and probably full creative control. I doubt he'll sign onto a company he's ragged on so badly as simply an on-air performer, especially with at least one person on that writing team who ripped off a lot of his work for years and didn't credit him. Unless Paul is coming in to run TNA creative for a few million dollars, I don't see that appealing to him.
There is no way Vince will say the ECW letters to anybody, ever. Vince has done a lot to kill it off and it's credibility, but look at the NWA. Those letters have meant basically nothing since Crockett folded but there are still people out there using it and doing ok with shows using the letters. So there's no way Vince is going to hand a tool (even a very small tool) to a competitor to exploit. Never gonna happen.
Anybody agree?
Nope, it'll never happen and really? TNA needs to build on it's own strengths and forge it's own future, you can't keep relying on nostalgia.
And, again, WHERE THE HELL IS TAZZ!?
He's under a very long no-compete from WWE. Announcers apparently have even a little longer then wrestlers do. TNA is doing all they can to make people understand he's coming in, and Taz (that's how he spells it, that's how it should be spelled, drop the extra "z" already) is doing all he can to keep his name fresh in the minds of the core target audience to TNA online.
