What!? You're insane.

I don't like that Edge and Cena won the titles.

Cena was to be expected but it was the soft option.
Edge is completely unexpected but I would of rather kozlov or hardy won the belt.

Agreed. My only problem is how they're going to explain Vickie and Edge being back together. As for Cena winning, I was hoping WWE didn't pull the trigger, but I think deep down we all knew it was happening.

But don't worry, WWE fans. With Cena as the champ, RAW will be getting ratings in the 7.0's... EASILY!!

Man, MVP still couldn't get the win. I really hope WWE quits jobbing the guy.

Raw will be interesting. I'm sure there will be plenty of people cheering for Cena, but how many will be booing him? Will his return be a lackluster thing? Obviously Jericho will want a rematch, but after that they may have Batista go after Cena. They will probably save that match for WM.

Damn, Edge got the title again! I figured he would be involved somehow, but I didn't think he'd get the belt right away. I hope he is able to defend against HHH. I'm looking forward to see what they can do together in the ring.

But that's because I really enjoyed the Edge and Vicki stuff and felt like there was still legs left in La Familia before they cut it off. It also creates a situation where H will have to work his way back into a title shot with Edge (which is really how the first time they hooked up should have been handled). I think this is a tremendously good idea for SD!...while RAW did the exactly predictable thing. They wonder why ratings tank? Seriously? Ugh.

There was no way that Cena was going to lose with all the hypo. Let's face it, Cena is the Hulkster of 21st century. You do not like it, I do not like it, but there is nothing that we can do about it.
I love the Edge angle, awesome things happen when Edge is involved. There is one issue that has me concerned. It appears that Edge is hooked up again with Vickie. His feud with Taker should be concluded with the HIAC match, I hope that they move Edge to a new program. But as it seems that Taker is done with Show, but do you do with Taker right now?

Oh obviously. Get ready for another near-year long Cena reign that you all so thoroughly deserve!

D-Luck, you seiously made me fucking cringe and then shudder just now when I read this.

About the 5:52 mark... Yowza.

Also I didn't comment last night, but the Jeff Hardy incident was disgusting. We just passed the anniversaries of Eddie and Brian Pillman's deaths, and WWE wants to take a guy with known substance abuse problems and do a story like that? It's disgusting! Why even add him to the match if he wasn't going to be able to compete? Why not just have him fall short on Friday...oh right, cause Triple H vs. Kozlov wasn't gonna draw. Still, since they were looking to John Cena vs. Jericho to be the draw, why not just do the singles match and then let Vickie add Edge without the screwing over the Jeff fans and doing a tasteless work that they then screwed the media on (and that'll probably bite them in the ass, at least I certainly HOPE it bites them in the ass). This company has no conscience. Lots of people swearing off buying any PPV except Mania, and probably a few who have shut the door on even that, and I don't really blame them, that storyline was just uncalled for.

I wonder how long it is going to take the fans to boo him, a week?

No kidding, Cena had never won the WHC before, expect him to carry the belt for a LONG time, people.

I agree with you Avie. WWE should really avoid stuff like this as it hits too close to real life tragedy. We were all thinking that was Jeff's third strike too. With the Eddie DVD coming out they should have had some repect and not played up a situation like that.

I enjoyed the triple threat last night. I'm glad Jericho got the win, though he got the crap beaten out of him by Cena at the end of the show. I also like the IC tournamant and how both Kofi and CM Punk are in it. They could have a match against each other or against Rey and that would be great. Kinda odd to see Goldust in the ring again. It seems they hire him and fire him a lot don't they?

But would it even matter? I mean, it sure as shit looks like the move to RAW with Kofi has become exactly what we were afraid of, he advanced via fucky finish, not because he actually beat Kane or anything, but just because Kane killed him and then got DQed. What Steph said after sure sucked too, it's like "ok Kane, you can beat up that little scrub, or you can have a match with John Cena you don't deserve because we've decided people need to just believe your an evil monster again but you've been jobbing to Rey Mysterio for a month". Just ugh. I like that we're emphasizing the IC title again, I like that Regal emphasized Punk as a strong challenger last night. What a concept that most of the heels in this company should understand! Put your friggin challenger over so if you beat him, you've actually beaten somebody instead of saying "he's a scrub, he's not worth it" because you get nothing if you beat him, and you actually look bad when you don't.

When your dad books developmental and your younger brother is considered a future star....well, you'll get a lot of chances.

I really enjoyed the extreme rules match between Swagger and Dreamer. It's been way too long since I saw a table be used. The bout between Finley and Mark Henry was also good up until the end. They are good against each other so the fued has been ok thus far.

That dancing goof annoys me.

To be fair this last time was not due to injury, it was just them giving Edge a vacation, although his knee was a bit banged up. But I think it was more like them being responsible and saying "take some time off before that turns into something that you'll be forced to take even more time off for"

I guess WWE still holds on to that "If they haven't seen in in a few years it will be fresh again" motto. I'm sure it won't go anywhere and they'll be jobbing the guy in a few months.

Boogeyman returned.. And it looks like he's had work done on his teeth. Still gross though.

Yea, that is the only hope. When will the WWE finally learn that the chain gang soldier gimmick is not going to work on him? I liked Cena better when he was a heel.
On the other side note, it appears that they are saving Edge vs HHH for a bigger PPV than Armageddon, so does it mean that we will be forced to see another, I mean ANOTHER Jeff Hardy shot at Armageddon?

When will the WWE finally stop jobbing MVP? If memory serves right, the guy is on the verge of making it to the ME scene a few months ago and now he is losing to local jobbers? WTF, seriously.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that former WWE and TNA superstar Tomko, 32, has signed to rejoin World Wrestling Entertainment. At last word, Tomko hasn't yet been given his start date with the company.

How do you guys feel about Tomko returning to WWE?

From what I understand Tomko has improved a lots since his last run with WWE. If that is the case I wouldn't mind seeing what he can do. If the rumor of Christian returning is true they could come back as a team or something. Though the best thing is to have them debut on different shows.

The company does not to push guys who came from the TNA, so I expected the creative team to job him out when he returns.

They don't push a lot of homegrown TNA guys because they don't meet WWE criteria, or because they don't appear to be in shape and trying hard (Chris Harris). But Tomko left on good terms, he's a big guy, and now he can work. I think WWE will really try with this guy now.

There is not a lot they can do with tomko.
He has no crowd appeal, looks ridicules and has the worst tattoos in wrestling.
It really doesn't matter how talented he is because he doesnt have it.

I dunno, he was getting some rave reviews in TNA and I think he just might have "it" but TNA could fuck up a wet dream. Samoa Joe has "it" but TNA seems hellbent on destroying the guy.

Somoa Joe has all the potential in the world, I agree.
I don't think they are hell bent on destroying him.
Him and Styles will come out looking as strong as ever by the end of the main event mafia angle.
That is the whole idea of it.

The WWE gives a rat ass about the TNA. Just because someone did well in the TNA, it does not mean that he will continue his success in the WWE. I do not think that Tomko has the charisma to be successful in the WWE. Only time will tell.

SD was pretty good last night. With the beard, Edge looks like a Mike Knox mini-me. The beat the clock challenge was ok, but the tied finish makes us all wonder what they will do about it. Will Hardy and HHH face each other again next week?

I'm looking forward to Helms's in ring return.
