Hall would probably screw up and make everyone regret bringing him in. Seriously, the dude has been given so many chances in the past and he's messed up nearly every one. I'd like to see him stay clean and sober and turn his life around, but until he shows some significant progress, I won't hold my breath.

By all reports they were only there to promote JCW by wearing their tshirts in the front row.
Doesn't look like they will be a regular part of TNA.
Probably a good thing by the sounds of it.

I gotta go with Hall even with his faulty track record, I mean the guy is a draw and a great wrestler still. And he just did get out of rehab, so maybe hell get his shit together or at least tone it down enough to get another chance in tna. He aint gettin any younger and these are his twilight years to put on a few more amazing matches, especially with or against nash. I really do hope they give him one more shot, itll mean just one more AMAZING talent on the TNA roster to compete with the WWF's product, which has been sub-par these last few years.

WWE has just released Elijah Burke, Kenny Dykstra & Lena Yada.

The only former Spirit Squad member that is still in WWE is Dolph Ziggler. And the only thing he's doing now is introducing himself to other wrestlers backstage on RAW. If WWE were to release Dolph Ziggler, He'll be the next Braden Walker.

Hall does not mean shit to ratings, buys, or ticket sales in this day and age. The only reason he meant piss back in the day is because people thought he was part of the WWF invading WCW. The dude made a dick of himself at the Shiek roast, and flunked out of WWE while claiming he was on anabuse. If you fuck up and get drunk when your supposed to be taking something that makes you sick if you drink, I think your pretty much hopeless. Why don't we just try dragging Jake Roberts back into one of the big two while we're hiring hopeless old wrestlers?

The releases are no surprise, but I truly think they didn't even begin to really try and get something out of Burke.

Rumors are strong that Christian will be headed back to WWE when his contract expires next month. I think Christian has done all he'll be allowed to do in TNA and there's now lots and lots of interesting opportunities for him back in WWE. TNA has written him out of the storylines as of this thursday, but they are trying to get him under a new contract.

Wow, Regal won IC title.
Now that the Honk-A-Meter angle is dead, I sense that Santino and Beth will soon break up.

Avie I cant believe you dont like Hall! What about Nash? You a fan of big sexy or do you not like either of the outsiders these days? I think for Halls age, hes a great worker, and disagree with ya on his relevance and/or drawing ability in wrestling presently. But to each his own right? I think I keep wanting him to get (yet another) chance because I would really love to see an outsiders headlined match once more before their careers are over. Hey, if DX can come back and rock the arena like it was a decade ago, no reason H&N cant do it one last time, right? I hope so, but maybe its just my nostalgia gland acting up again. ;-D

I say it like EVERY FUCKING TIME it happens, but I always LOOOVE when Regal wins something, and I was on my little wrestling cloud nine when he walked out of Manchester with the IC strap tonight. Man Ive gotta catch a WWF England show before I croak, so I dont feel like the weirdo in the crowd screaming my lungs out for Regal to take somebody to school. He had a pretty hot match tonight, my only bitch is that it coulda been a little longer and a lot less one sided.

Out of those, the release of Burke is the true shame. That guy was just plain awesome.

I'd really like to see Christian back with WWE. That would totally make my day.

Raw was very good last night. I didn't really want the Honk-A-Meter to go away so soon, but it was cool to see Regal get the title in his home country. The UK fans were really behind Santino before he insulted them. I think he was a bit suprised to hear his name being chanted and I liked how he put that into his promo. Say what you will about his in ring abilities, but he can deliver on the mic.

The match with Kane and Rey was good. The spot where Kane swung Rey like a bat against the wall was cool, and I liked their work overall in this match.

I'm also glad Jericho got the win last night. I don't think he'll be able to beat Cena though.

I was actually hoping for a Batista heel turn. Orton could have pointed out that managment had screwed him out of a rematch and that they had common ground with that. They could ahve formed a power team or something. Still them having a match would have been good had Cody Rhodes not gotten involved. I did like his segment with Orton though.

You know that they are saving Orton vs Batista for a major PPV if not WM 25, right?
On the side note, I heard plenty of "RKO" chants and it seemed that the crowd was really behind him. So I would not mind seeing Batista turn heel. As for Orton, I hope that they continue to build him as a tweener, he is just so awesome as a tweener.

DX has actually drawn money, both members of DX are still active and great performers. Hall and Nash never were all that great. Nash never drew either:

-Kevin Nash holds the distinction for being the lowest drawing WWE champion of all time.
-Kevin Nash was a focal point of WCW as it closed
-Kevin Nash and Hall returned to WWE bringing back in the nWo and quickly became a mid-card act after WWE attempted to push them as headliners and it quickly failed. Only Hogan got anything out of that return
-Kevin Nash was a focal point of a story with then TNA Champion Samoa Joe and the ratings and buyrates on TNA shows did not go up.

These are all undisputable facts. Nash and Hall are two guys who knew how get the right friends, and play the political game expertly. They didn't really draw within the nWo as much as the nWo drew because they were portrayed at first as the WWF invading WCW and then got over because they were cool heels. Nash is over the hill and what little skill he had is pretty much gone, Hall is a drunk and a drug addict who can't be relied on to show up consistently, hence why TNA didn't use him on Sunday, and were actually angry when he appeared with the ICP. Seriously man, you gotta get out of dreamland.

I say it like EVERY FUCKING TIME it happens, but I always LOOOVE when Regal wins something, and I was on my little wrestling cloud nine when he walked out of Manchester with the IC strap tonight. Regal as a talent is great. But he shouldn't have beat Santino. The Honk-A-Meter thing was still good and viable. Plus, Santino doesn't fail a drug test or do something incredibly stupid every time you push him! Seriously, they put a title on a guy with two strikes, and Jeff Hardy is probably feeling a little "wtf?" right now and he probably should. This was a bad call because it wasn't worth just getting a pop in England here for Regal.

I haven't heard that at all. It's something that he will need to consider soon enough sure...but I hadn't heard that it was imminent or anything. If I'm Regal I'm making the most of this opportunity, and if I'm not addicted to the stuff I was busted for with my last Wellness violation I flush that and work my ass off to repair the damage I did to myself in the eyes of WWE. Triple H may be his buddy, but H isn't stupid enough that he's going to waste time and clout pitching for a guy that doesn't seem to want to address his issues and keeps being something of a liability for the company.

Cena is way over pushed. If they'd stop trying to force him to be the next Hogan or something the fans would probably take to him more. I used to enjoy Hall and Nash when I was younger, but as I've gotten older I find their stuff just doesn't hold up and it's too much a product of it's times. Plus it's always hard for me to seperate their work from the fact that their selfishness was one of the things that helped put Vince into the untouchable position he's in now and has allowed him to get so complacent.

I have a feeling that Jeff Hardy will be added into the HHH-Kozlov mixture and make the match triple threat.
Why is Jeff Hardy getting every single title shot at HHH? I am growing tired of him getting endless chances at HHH's title. Everyone knows that he has no chance in hell winning the title, why giving him so many title shots?

I think he can win, especially in a triple threat.
If regal can be given a title so can jeff.

Kozlov to destroy HHH and jeff to steal the pin at the ppv.
Only to lose the title to won of them soon after.

There is a big difference between the IC title and WWE championship though. The IC champ doesn't represent the company as much as the WWE/Heavyweight champ. Also, Jeff was a champ last time he screwed up. Don't get me wrong, I would love if Jeff won, but I think he still has to make up for fucking up twice already.

I think Jeff might have been added because creative doesn't think Koslov can make the main even interesting. On the other hand, that makes sense, so I don't think that is a good anser to your question Duke.

I understand that Kozlov is still too green to be in the mainevent by himself. But why didn't they push MVP a few moonths ago so that he would have looked strong and challenged H's title. Now since MVP is a jobbing bitch, we will have "HHH vs Jeff Hardy 123456789", way to go, creative team!

Agreed man. It's nuts that they aren't trying to get Hardy subsituted with somebody people might like. Maybe they figure if they keep jobbing him in big match situations it'll kill him off. But ok then, where do we go? What's next? Kozlov? Nah, time to build up somebody useful.

Far as the Regal thing, you have a point boloney, but he still shouldn't have a belt because if he fucks up, the news will be very quick to run headlines of "WWE Champion William Regal busted for drugs!" and then bury in the article, if they even mention it, that he's a mid-level champ. But even THEN it's still going to be next to impossible for WWE to be able to defend giving a title to a guy with his history, and knowing if he fucks up again he's freakin fired!!!

Apparently, they are saving HHH vs The Undertaker for WM. So that match will not happen until April.
Like I said, Kozlov is still too green, but I think that he has potential to be great, like it or not.
MVP is now a jobbing bitch, so he will be off the ME scene for a long long long long time.
I heard that Umaga is coming back, why not having him feuding with HHH? I hope that the creative team puts an end to the HHH vs Jeff Hardy feud after the Survivor Series, the feud is losing steam in a hurry.

You guys are forgetting Edge when he returns. I can imagine they would want him in the main event with HHH as that would be a fresh opponent that could provide some quality matches. I'm not sure when he's coming back though.

I'm happy Umaga is coming back, but I think he should stay far away from HHH. He hasn't let him win the last dozen times, so I don't think it will be any different now that H is a champ. Edge would be sweet though. When is Kennedy coming back? I think it would be a good time to get him in the main event scene.

Meh, I don't know what it is about Kozlov... I just love him and hate him at the same time. I think that I'd really just like to see WWE get it over with, give 'em get a decent one-on-one against somebody reputable and end this whole "he's been in the WWE for 8 months fighting jobbers and interfering in matches and he's still undefeated! MY GOD!!1" scenario we're at. I mean come on - he's got his gimmick, he's got an actual entrance song, just get on with it already; what's the point of having some guy pop into the main event scene outta nowhere if he's never going to get a shot?

But in any case, back to what I was saying; yeah, I'd love to see him go one-on-one with Trip. I don't think I'd like to see H drop the title to him, but I'd love to see Kozlov give him a sure-as-shit run for his money. Personally I think it would have been a good match a month ago when the heat was still high between the two, and with each passing week I just care less and less, as it's gotten to the point of surefire predictability.

Oh well.
