Probably he will be, but my question is going to be: How many people are going to find that BELIEVABLE? See, this is one of those things where I'm not sure if WWE is saying "we're sure our audience is either kids, or idiots, and they'll take whatever we tell them to" or they say "there's enough internet marks that latch on to certain guys so hard that we can job them out and bury them, but once we're ready to do something with them they'll help us get the guy over". In either case, I don't see it working, it never does. You can't treat a guy like crap for 3 months or better, then flip a switch and go "ok! He's going to have a main event run now so buy into him". That's not how it worked, that's NEVER how it worked. MVP is very talented, and he deserves better then this, I just hope he isn't getting stained forever here.

Well...I really do not care, he sucks either way.

True, but if this winds up being a way to kind of get him over, and really make some money off him, it's the right move. Can't hurt like was already pointed out.

Cena should be back soon, so I'm guessing that he will be put into the mix with Jericho and Batista in the near future. Cena could come back with a fued with Batista since it was during their match that he got injured, or he could make a b-line for Jericho and the title.

As long as when he returns he actually gets straight into the action.
The huge crowd pop will be wasted if he does nothing but talk on his return.

Unlike Orton, who is a useless untalented hack.
Not really, but he should man up and wrestle already.

I'm sure when Cena gets back there will be talking involved first. They may hold off his in-ring return for a ppv to make the impact of his return mean more. I'm sure when Orton is finally ready to wrestle again it will be close ot that idea as well.

Id rather see the airtime spent on people who can actually perform.
I know I watch it for the drama, but some wrestling here and there is pretty entertaining to.

I loved Santino tongiht, but does anyone know what was up with the blood out of his mouth? It didn't look real. I don't remember Goldust ever doing something like that. If it was real, that is kind of concerning because that was a lot.

I think he got hit with a piece of the guitar. It did look bad but I haven't seen anything on it yet. The segment was great though and the fact that he kept going in spite of the fact that it looked like his mouth was filling with blood.

Way to make Jericho look strong WWE....Make him lose two of the three matches he was in. Typical crap booking.

The tag match with Punk, Kofi, Miz and Morrison was my favorite match of the night. Some great action right there.

It really is. Kofi is a damn impressive dude. It's a shame his IC title run was so short. Plus his theme music kicks ass.

I'm looking forward to ECW to see where they will take the possible fueds between Matt Hardy, Even Bourne and Finley. I'm sure they will all take action against Henry for what he did last week.

ECW was ok overall last night. I liked the main event and was happy that Bourne picked up the win. He has a good chance of getting the most votes and getting a title shot, though I don't think he is ready to be champion. Still, a match between him and Matt Hardy would be good. Lots of high flying with some good ground work.

Hornswaggle annoys me.

source: prowrestling.net

New information has surfaced concerning the sudden release of WWE Raw superstar Lance Cade last week. According to a new report released by Jason Powell of prowrestling.net, abuse of prescription drugs appeared to be a major catalyst for the seizure Cade had during a flight with colleague Lillian Garcia. Generally, WWE would suspend wrestlers who are found abusing prescription drugs for 30-60 days, however, considering the abuse in Cade's case resulted in a potentially life threatening seizure, they decided to terminate his contract as they felt the situation was much more grave than any others they have dealt with in the past.

I KNEW that the reason why the company release Cade was because he fucked himself up.

Know whats sad? Cyber Sunday is this weekend and I barely know the choices for the matches. Imn fact off the top of my head I could only recall the main title matches and the Santino match. I had to go to wwe.com to see what else was being offered. I wasn't even aware that Benjamin was on the PPV! I guess I wasn't paying attention enough.

Apparently it's being streamed on WWE.com before the PPV :/

I keep forgetting it's this weekend honestly. As I've said before, WWE has too many PPVs, and I really believe as WWE looks to gimmick up the shows it offers, they also need to look at cutting off some too. To me, the three shows to cut because they aren't "branded" in some way ATM is No Mercy, Judgement Day/Backlash (whichever) and GAB. You cut those and you have a schedule that looks something like this (forgive me if I miss a show or two):

January: Royal Rumble (Royal Rumble match that determines #1 contender for one brand's champion at Wrestlemania)

February: No Way Out (my assumption is this will be an Elimination Chamber, or two Chambers to determine remaining brands #1 contenders)

April: Wrestlemania (Superbowl of wrestling)

May: Backlash? Judgement Day? (gimmick to be determined, BOTH of these shows shouldn't continue, one should go and one should stay.)

June: ONS (Extreme Rules, let's change the name on this too please, One Night Stand is such an inappropriate title now)

July: Night of Champions (all title matches)

August: Summerslam (biggest PPV of the summer)

September: Unforgiven (presuming they'll keep the Championship Scrambles)

October: Cyber Sunday (fans vote)

November: Survivor Series (team elimination bouts)

December: Armageddon (gimmick to be determined)

The point here is to get it back to where WWE is only running ONE PPV a month, and each PPV has a unique identity. I believe this will increase WWE's ability to make better PPVs, make fans believe they get more value for money. Plus they have more time after paying 40 bucks one month to go back and get another 40 together for the next. I think part of WWE's problem lately is they have too damn many shows to work towards and that sometimes results in this hundred miles an hour slipshod booking they do. I think less shows will help them slow it down, try to think things out more, and create better product and better shows. A creative enema couldn't hurt either, but I think it is crucial to any recovery for them to cut back on the number of PPV's they do.

Caught up on last weeks Raw last night.* Gonna do the same with last weeks Smackdown and this weeks Raw today, and either watch Smackdown tonight or tomorrow.

*Wasn't a great Raw in my opinion. CM Punks match was horrible for the most part, as was HBK/Batista. I'm sick of seeing Rey and Kane do the same things and very little else stuck out for me. I guess my favorite part was good old Santino. The guys one of the main reasons I watch Raw.

How awesome has Triple H been lately.
I'm a big fan.

Is it just me or did he get new theme music?
I only caught the end of his entrance on smackdown.
Maybe I'm just confused.

Good show though, better then raw and ecw this week.

Wrestlemania usually falls somewhere between March 20-April 2. I am in favor of Mania being in April though honestly and then taking all of March off from PPV's so that you can effectively hype and build Mania as the superbowl of wrestling and the biggest event of the year. If your asking me for more money, you give me more show (which they do), but you also work to make sure I care about every match on that card.

Yeah that's pretty bad. I like Funaki and all but a name change shouldn't put him over a guy like MVP... I have no idea why WWE is doing this to him but it needs to stop. Last year MVP was a highlight of SD during his fued with Matt Hardy. His character is strong his performance in the ring is great, and his promos are usually awesome. These qualities have been consistent yet now he is on like a two month long losing streak. I think at one point I even went as far as saying MVP should be a future world champion. But at this rate he'll be off tv and working dark matches losing to local jobbers. It makes no sense!

Wow it has been a long time since we saw HHH and Taker go at it. So long in fact that I don't remember the last time it happened. I'd like to see more matches between the two, as their match on SD was good.

A few things I see differently.

Rey vs Kane, falls count anywhere.
Rey still wins.

Big show vs Taker, big show to win.

I have almost no basis for these claims that I can verbalise but it is what I see happening.

Good reviews as always. My thought on the HHH match is that if a triple threat is voted in Jeff Hardy has a good chance of wining by pinning Kozlov. But either way Jeff and HHH are going to go at it again.

The match that is the most up in the air is the batista v jericho one.
I agree that stone cold should be the referee, but who knows how real the voting is.
I could see HBK getting a start despite the fact I dont think people would vote for him when STSA is an option.

The result, who knows.

I would like to see Jericho continue with the championship but it wouldnt suprise me to see batista with it.
There could also be any amount of interference from cena who would probably want jericho to win.
And HBK who would like jericho to lose.

I could see jericho to retain by DQ.
Keep making Jericho look weak and batasta strong while keeping the belt where it belongs.

I am almost 100% sure that we will get another Jeff/HHH with Jeff jobbing thanks to Hunter's ego. Let's face it, against a power-hungry person like HHH, there is no way that Jeff is going to win with two strikes. Kozlov has been built as a destructive monster, I do not see him getting pinned in the near future. So yea, HHH is going to retain for sure tonght.

Well I do know that I, for one, would actually love a Kozlov vs Triple H match. Jeff had his shot, and really, I don't think there's going to be much left to do to upstage their match at the last PPV. Koslov, though... I don't know what it is about him, but he just pisses me off. I don't know if it's that he has no depth at all, or how he comes out when people are worn out after a match, knocks them around, and then complains about how he wants a "REAL CHALLENGE" ... In a way, though, I like the guy's angle and I hate myself for it.

Maybe I just want to see him up against some good competition, being's all he's really gone against to date is jobbers, and I think that if it was one-on-one, he and H could put on a very decent match. I'm not sure; any thoughts on this? Or am I the only one...
